Cut step traction element arrangement for an article of footwear
A traction element arrangement for a sole structure of an article of footwear is described. Traction elements include cut step features. Cut step features provide a traction element with a stepped height. Cut step features on medial rotational traction elements that have a plurality of stud elements arranged in a circular grouping include arc-shaped or straight cuts. Cut step features on traction elements disposed in a heel region are aligned laterally across the sole structure. Traction elements also include raised platform members. Cut step features can be combined with raised platform members.
Ground-engaging structures for articles of footwear
Ground-engaging components for articles of footwear include: (a) an outer perimeter boundary rim that at least partially defines an outer perimeter of the ground-engaging component, wherein the outer perimeter boundary rim defines an upper-facing surface and a ground-facing surface opposite the upper-facing surface, wherein the outer perimeter boundary rim defines an open space at least at a forefoot support area of the ground-engaging component; and (b) a matrix structure extending from the outer perimeter boundary rim (e.g., the ground-facing surface and/or the upper-facing surface) and across the open space at least at the forefoot support area to define an open cellular construction with plural open cells across the open space at least at the forefoot support area, wherein a plurality (e.g., at least a majority) of the open cells have curved perimeters with no distinct corners.
SHOE, IN PARTICULAR A BATHING SANDAL
A shoe is provided that includes a sole with an outsole and toe bridge opening, a tread arranged in the form of a tread pattern on the outsole, a strap which, together with the sole, forms a foot opening for holding the foot in the metatarsal and/or toe area, and a toe bridge. The toe bridge extends from the strap through the foot opening and through the toe bridge opening of the sole. A button is configured to secure the toe bridge to the sole by preventing the toe bridge from being pulled out of the toe bridge opening. The button has a shape that completes the tread pattern. In embodiments, the shoe is a bathing sandal.
Sole plate
An article of cleated footwear includes an outsole plate and an upper. The outsole plate includes a rigid first member and a second rigid member. The first rigid member extends substantially along the length of the outsole, and the rigid second member is attached to the first member. The first member and/or the second member has a ground-engaging profile. The upper is attached to the first member.
High energy return foam compositions having improved abrasion resistance and uses thereof
Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a high energy return foam having improved abrasion resistance. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. In some aspects, the foams and components including the foams can have exceptionally high energy return while also having improved durability and softness and an improved abrasion resistance. In particular, midsoles including the foams are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the compositions and foams are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding or injection molding followed by compression molding.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL OUT SOLE HAVING IMPROVED PATTERN QUALITY AND DURABILITY, AND SHOE COMPRISING SAME
A three-dimensional out sole having a pattern having improved quality and durability has a dye permeated into the surface of the outsole. A depth to which the dye penetrating the micropores is 0.08 mm to 0.12 mm. The dye is permeated into the microspores through vacuum suction. The dye is digitally printed on a thermoplastic sheet. The thermoplastic sheet on which the dye is printed is heated to be softened with flexibility. The softened sheet having flexibility is closely attached to a surface of the shoe outsole having the three-dimensional shape through vacuum adsorption and then is permeated therein.
Outsole for an article of footwear
An article of footwear includes a medial side portion, a lateral side portion, and an outsole extending from the medial side portion to the lateral side portion and configured to contact a ground surface. The outsole may include a first portion having a first traction surface configured for engaging the ground surface, the first traction surface disposed on the medial side portion and including one or more first traction elements. The outsole may further include a second portion having a second traction surface configured for engaging the ground surface, the second portion disposed on the medial side portion and extending in a superior direction from the first portion, the second traction surface including one or more second traction elements.
Article of footwear for soccer
An article of footwear has a sole including a toe portion and a heel portion, a toe bumper disposed on the toe portion, the toe bumper being configured to contact a ball, and a heel bumper disposed on the heel portion, the heel bumper being configured to contact the ball, wherein at least one of the toe bumper and the heel bumper has an asymmetric shape.
Function screen printing on upper
Described are shoes, in particular a sports shoe, wherein at least a portion of an upper of the shoe includes a first layer and a functional second layer, wherein the functional second layer is directly printed onto the first layer.
Slip resistant shoe
Disclosed is a novel non-slip grippy ventilated shoe made of a slip resistant material with a failure mode of from 1 to 50 Newtons/millimeter, and is generally made of a cage-like configuration to provide maximum slip resistance as well as ventilation with minimum structure, just sufficient enough structure to allow the shoe to provide grip on a surface. The shoe is useful in performing floor exercises such as barre, yoga and pilates among other applications such as water sports like surfing where grip is important, or for hospital settings for fall risk patients to alleviate the risk of falling.
