An interchangeable heel member comprising a locking mechanism is provided. The locking mechanism comprises a pin member operated by a button. The interchangeable heel member is coupled to a shoe by means of the pin member. The shoe comprises a groove provided at a heel plate. The pin member is made to fit in the groove to hold the interchangeable heel member to the shoe. In order to remove the interchangeable heel member from the shoe, the button is pressed and the pin member is released from the groove. The interchangeable heel member is replaced with replacement heels that differ in height or diameter.

A shoe assembly includes a front sole section, a rear sole section, a heel, and a hinge. The front sole section has a front sole section rear edge. The rear sole section includes a rear sole section front edge, a shank, and a release button. The heel may be removably attached to the shank and may be released from a locked position by the release button. The hinge connects the front sole section and the rear sole section. The hinge is perpendicular to a rear sole section axis.

A shoe assembly includes a front sole section, a rear sole section, a heel, and a hinge. The front sole section has a front sole section rear edge. The rear sole section includes a rear sole section front edge, a shank, and a release button. The heel may be removably attached to the shank and may be released from a locked position by the release button. The hinge connects the front sole section and the rear sole section. Disclosed herein is a footwear apparatus for facilitating optimal gaiting, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the footwear apparatus includes an upper configured for retaining a foot of a user in the footwear apparatus. Further, the footwear apparatus includes a sole comprising a front portion and a rear portion. Further, the upper is attached to the sole. Further, the rear portion is raised away from a plane defined by the front portion. Further, the rear portion comprises a first attachment component. Further, the footwear apparatus includes a heel configured to be removably attached to the rear portion of the sole. Further, the heel comprises a second attachment component configured for mating with the first attachment component. Further, the removably attaching of the heel with the rear portion is based on the mating.

Disclosed herein is a footwear apparatus for facilitating optimal gaiting, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the footwear apparatus includes an upper configured for retaining a foot of a user in the footwear apparatus. Further, the footwear apparatus includes a sole comprising a front portion and a rear portion. Further, the upper is attached to the sole. Further, the rear portion is raised away from a plane defined by the front portion. Further, the rear portion comprises a first attachment component. Further, the footwear apparatus includes a heel configured to be removably attached to the rear portion of the sole. Further, the heel comprises a second attachment component configured for mating with the first attachment component. Further, the removably attaching of the heel with the rear portion is based on the mating.

A convertible shoe may include a sole and a plurality of interchangeable heel portions, each selectively attachable to the sole. The heel portions may each include a mounting surface configured to interface with a heel receiver of the sole. The heel receiver may include a fixed hook and a movable hook, with the movable hook being operable by an actuator coupled to a bottom surface of the sole. In some examples, an upper is secured to the sole of the shoe by one or more clamping plates. In some examples, the sole of the shoe is configured to be biased into a default bend corresponding to a high-heeled state even when a low heel is attached to the heel receiver.

An interchangeable heel device for a shoe is disclosed. The device has an upper heel block, a detachable heel, and a key. The key is in a top of the detachable heel or in a bottom of the upper heel block and a receiving recess is in the other of the detachable heel or upper heel block. The key is movable within the receiving recess between a released position and an engaged position. In the engaged position, each key first engagement portion is engaged with one of the receiving first engagement portions and each key second engagement portions is engaged with one of the receiving second engagement portions to join the key to the perimeter of the receiving recess and the heel to the sole. In the released position, each key first engagement portion is aligned with one of the receiving non-engagement recesses and the key is removable from the receiving recess.

An interchangeable heel device for a shoe is disclosed. The device has an upper heel block, a detachable heel, and a key. The key is in a top of the detachable heel or in a bottom of the upper heel block and a receiving recess is in the other of the detachable heel or upper heel block. The key is movable within the receiving recess between a released position and an engaged position. In the engaged position, each key first engagement portion is engaged with one of the receiving first engagement portions and each key second engagement portions is engaged with one of the receiving second engagement portions to join the key to the perimeter of the receiving recess and the heel to the sole. In the released position, each key first engagement portion is aligned with one of the receiving non-engagement recesses and the key is removable from the receiving recess.

A convertible high heel and flat shoe comprising a sole including a heel section; a high heel piece positionable between a high heel mode where the high heel piece supports the heel section and a flat shoe mode where the high heel piece is received within the sole, wherein the sole includes a receiving section to receive the high heel piece within the sole, an openable sole cover that covers and uncovers the receiving section of the sole, the openable sole cover including a hole therein that the high heel piece extends through in the high heel mode.
