An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit configured to form an image on a sheet based on an image forming condition; an image reader configured to read an image for adjustment of the image forming condition, which is formed on the sheet; and a controller configured to: control, in a case of a job for which printing of the image for adjustment is set, the image forming unit to form the image for adjustment on the sheet, and generate a correction value for the image forming condition based on a reading result of the image for adjustment, which has been obtained by the image reader, to thereby adjust the image forming condition based on the correction value.

A charge removing unit emits light onto a surface of an image bearing member for removing charge on the surface. The charge removing unit includes a light source configured to emit the light, and a light guide that is configured to guide the light to irradiate the surface of the image bearing member with the light and has a cylindrical shape extending in an axial direction of the image bearing member. At both ends in a longitudinal direction of the light guide, one end portion and another end portion are respectively provided. The light is introduced to the one end portion. The another end portion includes an inclined surface inclining in a direction from the one end portion to the another end portion, toward a central axis of a circumference of the light guide.

A photoresponsive polymer includes a structural unit represented by the following general formula (1), the photoresponsive polymer being fluidized by light irradiation, and reversibly non-fluidized:

A rotatable polygon mirror including a plurality of reflecting surfaces includes first and second surfaces connecting to the reflecting surfaces provided on opposite ends, first and second protrusion portions with an annular shape, provided on the first and second surfaces and protruding inversely to each other in the rotational axis direction, about a rotational axis of the rotatable polygon mirror. A height of a top surface portion of the first protrusion portion from the first surface is higher than that of a top surface portion of the second protrusion portion from the second surface with respect to the rotational axis direction. In a case that the rotatable polygon mirrors are stacked in the rotational axis direction, a wall of an inner peripheral side of the first protrusion portion and a wall of an outer peripheral side of the second protrusion portion are engaged with each other.
LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE AND DRAWING APPARATUS
A light emitting device includes: a base that extends in one direction and that is formed of a metal block; plural light emitters that are disposed on a front surface side of the base so as to be displaced from each other in the one direction and in each of which plural light sources that are arranged in the one direction are supported by a support that extends in the one direction; and a protective member that is provided at an end portion of the base in a direction intersecting the one direction, that is disposed on a lateral side of the plural light emitters so as to extend in the one direction, and that protects the plural light emitters from outside.

An image forming apparatus includes a photoconductor, a bearing body, an abutting portion, a support frame, an exposure device, and an urging body. The photoconductor includes a shaft portion at an end portion. The bearing body is configured to receive the shaft portion. The abutting portion is coupled to the bearing body. The support frame is configured to support the abutting portion and the bearing body. The exposure device faces the photoconductor, abuts on the abutting portion, and includes a light source exposing the photoconductor to light. The urging body is configured to press the exposure device toward the support frame, urge the abutting portion toward the bearing body and the shaft portion, and urge the bearing body toward the support frame.
Image forming apparatus to suppress unnecessary exposure of photoconductive body
An image forming apparatus includes a photoconductive body, a light source, a deflector to deflect a light beam from the light source, a scanning optical system to image the deflected light beam onto the photoconductive body, a developing unit to supply developer to the photoconductive body, an optical sensor to detect the deflected light beam, a moving mechanism to move the developing unit to a first position and to a second position, and a controller configured to start driving the deflector, when the developing unit is in the second position, the light source to emit the light beam, thereby obtaining a detection signal of the light beam from the optical sensor, and after obtaining the detection signal of the light beam from the optical sensor, control the moving mechanism to move the developing unit to the first position.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing method comprising: exposing a correction image displayed on an image display device having a plurality of pixels to a photosensitive recording medium via a limiting member, the limiting member being provided between the image display device and an exposure surface of the photosensitive recording medium and limiting an angle of light emitted from the image display device to the photosensitive recording medium; acquiring recorded image data, which is data of a recorded image recorded on the photosensitive recording medium through the exposure of the correction image; and deriving a correction coefficient K for correcting a pixel value for each pixel of a display image for each pixel of the image display device based on the recorded image data such that the display image including unevenness of which brightness is complementary to unevenness that occur in the recorded image is displayed on the image display device.
