UPPER FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING ANGLED TUBULAR KNIT STRUCTURES
An upper for an article of footwear may include a first tubular knit structure, where the first tubular knit structure includes a first layer and a second layer, the first layer and the second layer being separable such that a first passage is located between the first layer and the second layer. A second tubular knit structure may be included, where the second tubular knit structure includes a third layer and a fourth layer, the third layer and the fourth layer being separable such that a second passage is located between the third layer and the fourth layer. A longitudinal direction of the first tubular knit structure may be angled at least 5 degrees relative to a longitudinal direction of the second tubular knit structure.
Shoes with Lenticular Foil
Shoes that are comprised of at least one outsole with a heel and an upper connected with the outsole. At least a part of the upper is made up of a printed lenticular foil and/or a lenticular foil behind which images are stuck.
Article of Footwear with Braided Upper
An article of footwear with a braided upper is disclosed. The article includes a braided upper with a bottom opening and a bottom peripheral portion surrounding the bottom opening. An article can include an insole component with a projecting portion that fits though the bottom opening. An article may otherwise include a midsole component with an upper projecting portion that fits through the bottom opening. A midsole component and/or an insole component may be attached directly to the bottom peripheral portion of the braided upper using a bonding agent.
FOOTWEAR UPPER COMPRISING STRETCH ZONES
An upper of an article of footwear comprises a plurality of stretch zones each having a respective stretching capability. Suitable example stretch zones may include four-way stretch zones, two-way stretch zones, and/or lock-out zones. In some examples, an upper having a plurality of stretch zones comprises a single continuous piece of material configured to have regions of different stretching capability. The single piece of material may comprise a layered material having two stretchable outer layers, wherein a plurality of stretch zones of the piece of material are defined by corresponding intermediate layers disposed at selected locations between the outer layers. Examples of intermediate layers providing two-way stretch, four-way stretch, and little or no stretch are disclosed.
ARTICLE WITH AT LEAST TWO LAYERS
An upper for an article of footwear may include a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and a third layer located between the first knit layer and the second knit layer, the third layer including a material with a melting point of 150° C. or less, where the first knit layer and the second knit layer are secured via the material of the third layer. A first zone may be included, where the first knit layer, the second knit layer, and the third layer are coextensive in the first zone. A second zone may be included, where the first knit layer, the second knit layer, and the third layer are coextensive in the second zone. The first zone may have a first stretch resistance and the second zone may have a second stretch resistance, where the first stretch resistance is greater than the second stretch resistance.
Upper for an article of footwear having a tie structure
An upper may be included with an article of footwear. The upper may include a textile portion, the textile portion forming a throat area of the upper. The upper may further include a base portion, the base portion extending to a biteline area of the upper. The upper may further include a tie structure, the tie structure extending through a first opening of the textile portion and a second opening of the base portion to secure the textile portion to the base portion.
SANDALS
The present invention relates to a sandal, in particular a trekking sandal, that comprises a sole for forming a separation layer between a foot area and the floor and at least one strap that is connected to the sole and serves the fastening of a foot in the sandal. The sandal is characterized in that the strap forms a loop that is adapted to deflect a strap guided through the loop in a fastening region by fastening two strap sections to one another.
Footwear With Waterproof Seams
An article of footwear includes an upper having a quarter having a lower edge having a first slit defined therein and a vamp having an upper edge having a second slit defined therein. The quarter and the vamp are joined along a seam extending along the lower edge of the quarter and the upper edge of the vamp with the first slit and the second slit cooperating with one another. At least a portion of the lower edge of the quarter is adhesively sealed to an inner surface of the vamp.
FOAMABLE AND FOAMED TEXTILES, THE PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND ARTICLES INCORPORATING THE SAME
A textile component includes a yarn which includes a thermoplastic material. A blowing agent with at least activation condition is included into the textile, either by inclusion in the yarn or impregnating in the textile after forming an un-foamed textile. Upon triggering the activation condition of the blowing agent, the blowing agent introduces a plurality of cavities, i.e. cells, into the thermoplastic material. The textile then comprises a multicellular foam area of the textile wherein the multicellular foamed area comprises a multicellular foam surrounding a core yarn. The textile, in either its un-foamed or foamed condition, can be incorporated into a variety of articles, such as an article of footwear.
FOAMABLE YARNS, TEXTILES AND ARTICLES INCORPORATING FOAMABLE YARNS, AND THE PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An article, such as an article of footwear includes, a textile component. The textile component includes a yarn. The yarn includes a thermoplastic material and a blowing agent with an activation condition. Upon triggering the activation condition of the blowing agent, the blowing agent introduces a plurality of cavities, i.e. cells, into the thermoplastic material, creating a multicellular foam area of the textile.
