A three-dimensional image simulation device for managing a live event comprising an image capturing device for capturing live captured data corresponding to a presenter and generating, in real-time, hologram data based on the live captured data. An output interface for broadcasting the hologram data in real-time to at least one additional location containing an audience, wherein the hologram data is used to create a hologram of the presenter at the at least one additional location based on an apparent parallax effect in a simulated three-dimensional display device, the hologram creating a three-dimensional illusion for the audience regarding actual presence of the presenter at the at least one additional location. Furthermore, an input interface for receiving audience data from the at least one additional location regarding interaction between the hologram and the audience and a display device for displaying images based on audience data to the presenter.

Embodiments of the present application disclose a sharing method and a sharing device. The method comprises: determining at least one piece of first information associated with a field of view of at least one user; and determining a transmission policy of at least one hologram of the at least one user at least according to the at least one piece of first information, wherein the transmission policy comprises: a sequence that is determined, for any one of the at least one user, at least according to a degree of association between a field of view of at least one other user among the at least one user and a field of view of the any user and is for transmitting at least one hologram of the any user to the at least one other user. The method and device of the embodiments of the present application can determine a transmission priority based on a degree of association with a field of view of a user, to further provide a reference for sequentially transmitting holograms, so as to reduce a load of a wireless network and improve user experience.

VIEWER TRACKING IN A PROJECTION SYSTEM
20170090420 · 2017-03-30 · ·

A method for displaying a hologram to a variable direction including using circuitry to determine a direction from a holographic projector to a viewer for projecting a hologram to a viewer, and projecting a hologram in the determined direction, in which the projecting the hologram includes reflecting from a same mirror as the determining the direction of the viewer, and the circuitry controls the projecting the hologram to a direction corrected for a difference in direction between a projecting unit and a tracking unit relative to the mirror. Related apparatus and methods are also described.

Disclosed are methods and systems for displaying images, and for implementing volumetric user interfaces. One exemplary embodiment provides a system comprising: a light source; an image producing unit, which produces an image upon interaction with light approaching the image producing unit from the light source; an eyepiece; and a mirror, directing light from the image to a surface of the eyepiece, wherein the surface has a shape of a solid of revolution formed by revolving a planar curve at least 180 around an axis of revolution.

HOLOGRAPHIC DECODING AND DISPLAYING METHODS AND DEVICES FOR EXCHANGING CONFIGURATION DATA
20250095520 · 2025-03-20 ·

A holographic display device accepts different configurations for rendering a Computer Generated Hologram. The decoder which prepares the CGH may not have the required memory and processing resources to provide the holographic display device with CGH generated in the nominal preferred configuration. According to the present principles, messages are exchanged between the holographic decoder and the holographic display device to select a configuration that the holographic display device accept and that fit the memory and processing resources of the holographic decoder.

Briefly stated, technologies are generally described for displaying a holographic image on a mobile device with a reference beam provided from a light source station. Example devices/systems described herein may use one or more of a mobile device and/or one or more light source stations. In various examples, the mobile device may include a holographic image display unit configured to receive a reference beam and display the holographic image responsive to the reference beam. The light source station may be configured to track a location of the holographic image display unit and provide a reference beam towards the holographic image display unit. The light source station may be further configured to exchange a control signal with the mobile device such that the holographic image display unit is operable to display the holographic image based on the control signal.
