A filling device has a base that retains a sleeve in which a pre-roll cone is placed. A scale is located below the sleeve to weigh the contents of the pre-roll cone as it is filled. A filling hopper is placed above the sleeve to introduce ingredients, such as smoking material, into the pre-roll cone. An integrated automatic lighter is included in the base and is triggered by a physical switch or by a motion and/or proximity sensor. An electronics-enabled cover includes an air pump, fan, UV-C sanitizing light, and other features to add in the filling process and in sanitation. An ashtray accessory with an odor or flavor additive and a fan may also be provided. The functions of the filling device can be controlled by external devices, like a smartphone, through a software application.

Presented is a smoking product making system as well as methods for producing a plurality of smoking products. The smoking product making system comprises a receptacle configured to releasably hold pre rolled cones, a closure device configured for closing the top end of the pre rolled cones filled with smoking material, and an ejector device configured to push the bottom end of each pre rolled cone. The smoking product making system as well as method is capable of simultaneously producing a plurality of finished smoking products (such as cigarettes) with equal precision by enabling application of equal force for closing the top ends of the pre rolled cones.

A device for carrying out the methods includes a tube receiving area for receiving a smokable tube to be filled, portion displacement means for displacing the portion relative to the casing, and casing displacement means for engaging and displacing the casing.

The present invention relates to a device and method for rolling a paper tube around ground material to form a cigarette. In an embodiment of the present invention, the device comprises an openable chamber configured to receive ground material, the chamber having a first end and a second end; a rolling assembly disposed within the chamber, the rolling assembly receiving paper and forming a paper tube around the ground material, the rolling assembly having a first end and a second; and a first gear assembly at the first chamber end and communicatively connected the first end of the rolling assembly, and a second gear assembly at the second chamber end and communicatively connected to the second end of the rolling assembly, the first and second gear activating the rolling assembly when rotated to roll the paper around the ground material forming a cigarette.

A method of transferring a portion (12) of smokable material from a casing (11) into a smokable tube (202), the method comprising advancing at least one of the casing and the portion of smokable material toward the other to advance the casing and the portion into the tube by a first distance less than the length of the space within the tube, at least partially withdrawing the casing from the tube, while holding the portion in the tube, and further driving the tobacco portion into the tube, as well as a corresponding device.
