Time zone indicator device
The invention relates to a timepiece comprising at least an hour indicator, a minute indicator, a movement arranged to drive the hour indicator and the minute indicator, a dial, a crown and an indicator for at least one time zone, housed inside a first case. According to the invention, the first case is rotatable inside a second case about an axis of rotation, so that a rotation of the first case in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction with respect to the second case allows a time zone to be chosen and the time in the selected time zone to be indicated.
Watch having an in interchangeable bezel
The watch bezel system includes a bezel that is removable and replaceable with another bezel. The bezel is removed by pushing a button on the side of the watch case that retracts a pin residing in the case of the watch. At the same time, the user grasps the bezel with their other hand and twists the bezel clockwise and pulls the bezel away from the case of the watch. The replacement of the bezel is done by aligning the interlocking mechanism of the bezel with the interlocking mechanism of the case of the watch, then pushing the bezel against the case, and twisting counterclockwise. The bezel will self-lock in place with the pin attached to the case. When the button is released, the pin will automatically enter a recess in a slot in the bezel, locking the bezel in place, and keep the bezel from rotating or coming off the watch case. Additionally, the interlocking mechanisms on the case and bezel also keep the bezel from coming off the watch case. The pin is engaged and disengaged with the push button on the side of the case of the watch.
Spring ring for snap fitting a rotating bezel
The invention relates to a spring ring 14 for snap fitting a rotating bezel, the spring ring extending in a plane and being intended to be received in an annular groove arranged on a cylindrical outer rim of a watch case middle part made of ceramic. According to the invention, the spring ring comprises on the inner rim thereof at least one lug inclined in relation to the plane of the spring ring, said lug being intended to engage with a cylindrical outer surface of the watch case middle part, so as to index the position of the spring ring in relation to the middle part.
Watch case comprising a rotating bezel
A watch case including a rotating bezel and a middle part, the bezel being mounted such that it is capable of moving in rotation on the middle part, the bezel and the middle part defining therebetween an annular chamber internally including a device for creating a friction torque between the bezel and the middle part, the device including a compressing member and a braking element, the compressing member exerting a compressive stress on the braking element under the effect whereof the braking element is pressed against the bezel.
Watch equipped with a device for locking an external control unit
A watch including a case (6) having a push-piece (8), movable in a radial direction, and a device (14) for locking the push-piece. The locking device includes a locking member (16) rotatably mounted about a central axis of the case and arranged to be actuated between a locking position, wherein the push-piece is stopped or blocked by the locking device so that the function cannot be activated by actuation of the control member, and an unlocking position wherein the push-piece is released and can then be actuated in said radial direction to allow the function to be activated. A rotating bezel (20) and the locking member are coaxial arranged so that they can each be rotatably actuated by the user independently of each other. Thus, the rotating bezel is independent of the locking function and can thus be dedicated to the chronograph mechanism and be in particular useful for diving.
Timepiece with drive for a rotary indicia ring
A drive for rotation of an indicia ring includes a bezel extending about the indicia ring and mounted to rotate about an axis. A transmission including a pair of gears that are coaxial and fixed to rotate together, with one engaging a toothed inner face of the indicia ring and the other engaging a tooth set of the bezel to thereby transmit torque from the bezel to the indicia ring. A detent is urged by resilient means to an extended position in which it is received between adjacent teeth. A locking member is mounted to the casing for movement between a locked position that blocks movement of the detent to its retracted position and an unlocked position that permits movement of the detent to its retracted position.
Wearable device with bezel ring to enable motion in multiple degrees of freedom
A wearable device and a method for performing one or more actions using a wearable device are disclosed. The wearable device includes a bezel ring, a watch dial a flexible ring, and a plurality of springs. The bezel ring includes a plurality of holes along a circumference of the bezel ring for placement of a plurality of magnets. The watch dial includes an outer periphery with another plurality of holes at a uniform distance. The watch dial also includes an inner periphery to house inertial sensors at a predetermined position. The flexible ring placed in between an inner surface of the bezel ring and the watch dial. A plurality of springs are placed within the other plurality of holes of the outer periphery of the watch dial. The bezel ring is configured to support at least one of tilting, shifting and rotation over the watch dial.
Rotating-bezel system comprising a ceramic rotating bezel
A rotating-bezel system intended to be mounted for rotation on a watch-case middle inside which a horological movement is housed, including a ceramic rotating bezel, an annular ring intended to cooperate with an element angularly secured to the middle, and an annular joint for connection between the rotating bezel and the annular ring, the annular ring being placed in the rotating bezel. According to the invention, the system further includes at least one element for locking the annular ring on the rotating bezel, and at least one element being configured to lock any relative rotation between the annular ring and the bezel and to thus angularly secure the assembly formed by the ring and the bezel.
Annular rotating bezel system comprising a spring ring
An annular rotating bezel system to be rotatably mounted on a case middle of a watch case inside which is housed a timepiece movement which extends in a plane, including a rotating bezel, an annular holding ring, a toothed ring, and a spring ring which extends in a plane in which it is capable of deforming elastically along a radius, the spring ring cooperating elastically with the toothed ring, the toothed ring and the spring ring being held in an axial direction perpendicular to the plane of the movement in the bezel by the annular holding ring, either the toothed ring or the spring ring being arranged to be angularly joined to the rotating bezel, and the other being arranged to be angularly joined to the case middle, wherein the spring ring has a thinned portion to increase the flexibility of the spring ring in its plane, the thinned portion having a tooth elastically and radially meshed with the toothed ring.
WRIST DEVICE
A wrist device includes: a first input detector that detects a first input operation; a second input detector that is different from the first input detector and that detects a second input operation; a cover that is movable between a first position and a second position, the cover in the first position exposing the first input detector, the cover in the second position covering the first input detector; and at least one processor that receives the first input operation and the second input operation. The processor receives the second input operation as a valid operation in a case where the cover is in the second position.
