MUSICAL WATCH CASE
A musical watch case including a case middle with surfaces for receiving and supporting a cover with a bezel, and a casing ring, and supporting at least one gong with a resonant part distinct from the walls of the case middle, which supports the cover via distinct and remote lugs included in the bezel or the case middle and which are arranged to allow vibration of the cover, and form, with at least one gasket, the only direct contacts between the bezel and the case middle, which includes, around an annular wall defining an inner chamber around the casing ring, and around all the other these lugs, a resonator ring integral with the case middle distant at every point from the bezel and from the lugs, forming with this wall an external radiating cavity.
MUSICAL WATCH CASE
A musical watch case including a case middle with surfaces receiving and supporting a cover with a bezel, or a case back, and a casing ring, the case including at least one gong fixed to the case middle with a resonant part distinct from the walls of the case middle, which supports the cover via lugs included in the bezel or the case middle and which are arranged to allow vibration of the cover assembly at frequencies from 4 kHz to 6 kHz, these distinct and distant lugs forming, with at least one gasket, the only direct contacts between the bezel and the case middle, between which each lug includes a thin, elastic, median strip, more flexible than its solid distal end, and of smaller thickness than the smallest cross-section of these gongs.
Method for frequency tuning a set of plates of a watch, and watch comprising the set of tuned plates
A method for frequency tuning a set of plates of a watch. The plates are disposed one above the other forming a watch dial with a space defined between the plates. A mechanical shock to the set of plates is generated, and the vibration frequency of each plate is checked. The vibration frequency of at least one of the plates is matched if different from the other plate so as to obtain an identical vibration frequency for each plate in order to tune the plates at least according to the first vibration eigenmode so as to avoid any contact between the plates as a result of any mechanical shock.
Acoustic device
An acoustic device includes a waterproof vibrating membrane and a magnetic component disposed below the waterproof vibrating membrane. The waterproof vibrating membrane includes a convex portion which protrudes toward a position of the magnetic component, or a concave portion which is recessed opposing to a position of the magnetic component. The magnetic component includes a concave pressure buffering portion corresponding to a shape of the convex portion of the waterproof vibrating membrane wherein the concave pressure buffering portion is recessed toward a side opposing to a side on which the waterproof vibrating membrane is located, or a convex pressure buffering portion corresponding to a shape of the concave portion of the waterproof vibrating membrane wherein the convex pressure buffering portion protrudes toward a side on which the waterproof vibrating membrane is located.
Striking or musical timepiece with a resonant bezel
A musical timepiece includes a gong fastened to a structure or a resonator of a watch case, the resonator rigidly assembled to the structure around a chamber, by lugs allowing vibration of the resonator within a determined frequency range, the chamber enclosing a sealing element forming with the lugs the only mechanical connection between the structure and the resonator. The structure or the resonator includes a groove receiving a gasket in contact with the structure and the resonator The structure structure or the resonator or the sealing element includes a rigid protruding relief portion compressing a gasket in its groove, with a hardness less than 20 Shore A, for minimum damping of the vibration of the resonator.
Measuring system for a plurality of mechanical horological movements
A case configured to receive a plurality of mechanical watch movements in the wound state, each movement being housed inside a compartment, configured to receive and maintain the movement according to a predefined orientation. In this position, the winding buttons of the movements are positioned facing respective microphones which are mounted inside the case. The microphones are configured such that they cancel the noises detected, such that the acoustic measurements of each of the movements are essentially not disturbed by the noises produced by the adjacent movements. Also, a method for testing a plurality of mechanical movements installed in the case, and to a testing system which includes the case. The movements are measured by a plurality of cycles of consecutive and successive measurement periods.
ACOUSTIC RADIATION MEMBRANE, AND STRIKING WATCH EQUIPPED WITH THE ACOUSTIC MEMBRANE
The striking or musical watch comprises a watch case, which comprises a case middle and a back attached to the case middle in a sealed manner and in a detachable manner, a glass closing the case in a sealed manner, a watch movement or a watch electronic module retained in the interior of the watch case and equipped with a sonic vibration generator intended to be activated during specific periods in order to produce a sound or music. The watch comprises at least one acoustic radiation membrane made at least in part of wood or a wood composite material and attached to a part of the case in order to radiate the sound produced by the sonic vibration generator towards the exterior of the case.
Timepiece
A timepiece is equipped with a movement, a timepiece case accommodating the movement, and a hollow tubular structure portion having a connection proximal portion directly or indirectly in contact with the movement. The hollow tubular structure portion is formed such that a space defined between itself and the timepiece case is hermetically sealed. The inner space of the hollow tubular structure portion communicates with the exterior of the timepiece case via an external opening of the timepiece case. The timepiece can secure a sufficient waterproof performance and can transmit sound from a sound source efficiently to the exterior.
TIMEPIECE
A timepiece which can secure a sufficient waterproof performance and which can transmit sound from a sound source efficiently to the exterior is provided. The timepiece is equipped with a movement, a timepiece case accommodating the movement, and a hollow structure portion having a connection proximal portion directly or indirectly in contact with the movement.
