Electrical Box With Reversible Cover And Latch
20200083688 · 2020-03-12 ·

An enclosure, such as an electrical enclosure, includes a base having a series of walls that define an interior, and a cover. The base and cover include a hinge arrangement that enables the cover to be secured to the base for movement between a closed position and an open position. The hinge arrangement enables the cover to be hinged to either a first wall of the base or an opposite, second wall of the base. A latch member is configured to be selectively engaged with either the first wall of the base or the second wall of the base, and is engaged with the second wall of the base when the cover is hinged to the first wall of the base and is engaged with the first wall of the base when the cover is hinged to the second wall of the base.

The present disclosure provides a reversible watch with a secure and convenient flipping mechanism that facilitates quick and easy switching between two different watch faces. The mechanism comprises a timepiece block resting in and coupled to an outer frame by a pair of pivot joints about which it can rotate, and a set of ball bearings and corresponding indents that secure the timepiece to the frame when the time displays are aligned with the frame. The time displays are also separately controllable, allowing for users to conveniently switch between any two relative times.

Shock-absorber device, in particular for a micromechanical clockwork component

A shock-absorber and/or vibration-absorber device is proposed, comprising at least one flexible element able to deform under the effect of a stress; said device being remarkable in that it includes at least one so-called dissipative layer made from a material having a shear modulus lower than the shear modulus of the flexible element, a shock-absorbing factor greater than the shock-absorbing factor of said flexible element, and at least partially secured to said flexible element such that a flexion of the flexible element, under the effect of a stress, provides shearing of the dissipative layer making it possible to dissipate at least part of the energy from said stress. A method for manufacturing said shock-absorber device is also disclosed.

WATCH COMPRISING A WATCH CASE PROVIDED WITH TWO DIALS

A watch including a watch case, the watch case containing a watch movement and two dials. The watch further includes a casing ring arranged inside the watch case, the watch movement being mounted in the casing ring so as to be suspended in a cantilever arrangement inside the watch case, the casing ring supporting the two dials.

APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR KEEPING A COVER RELEASABLY SECURED OVER AN OPENING
20190160849 · 2019-05-30 ·

A cover is releasably secured over an opening by an apparatus or a fastener system and may be used in a book-clock system having a clock movement housed within a space hollowed through the book's pages. A clock shaft protruding from the movement passes through an opening in a fastening element and then through a hole in the book's front cover. The clock shaft supports and moves the clock hands on the front. The fastening element may be a flexible strip. It may be positioned in a U-shape about the clock movement so at least a ferromagnetic part of the fastening element is adjacent to portion of the clock movement facing the back cover. A magnet is positioned on the back cover so when closed, the magnet meets the ferromagnetic part of the fastening element. A magnetic force is exerted and releasably holds the back cover of the book closed.
