MOVING MECHANISM FOR A DECORATIVE ELEMENT OF A TIMEPIECE
A moving mechanism for a decorative element of a timepiece, the decorative element including at least two decorative faces disposed around an arbor defining the axis of the decorative element. The moving mechanism includes a circular drive element arranged to be rotatable about a central axis and including an aperture arranged to reveal one of the decorative faces of the decorative element and inside which said decorative element is mounted to rotate about its arbor. The moving mechanism also includes first device for driving the decorative element in rotation about its arbor mounted on the circular drive element and arranged to cooperate with fixed actuation means provided in the periphery of the circular drive element, such that the decorative element rotates about its arbor to successively display its decorative faces in the aperture of the circular drive element while rotating about the central axis.
Horological component
A horological component including a substrate and at least one first decoration component including at least one first photoluminescent material configured to procure a phosphorescent appearance. The horological component includes a second decoration component including at least one second material, the second material being metallic and configured to procure a metallic appearance, or variochromic and configured to procure a color that varies under the effect of a stimulus, the first decoration component and the second decoration component being arranged relative to one another on the substrate to form a decoration having a metallic appearance or a color that varies under the effect of a stimulus when the horological component is exposed to light and a phosphorescent appearance when the horological component is in the dark. A timepiece can include such a horological component.
DYNAMIC FLUIDIC JEWELRY
A construct having an aesthetic form is adapted to please a wearer and to be worn by the wearer. The construct provides a structure having a wearer connection element such as a ring, a chain, a wristband, a pin, a clasp, a clip, and a body piercing element. The functional elements including a fluid reservoir in which at least two fluids are disposed, and a motion generation system are integrated on the structure, The motion generation system is functionally affixed to the structure so as to agitate the at least two fluids, causing a visual animation effect. The construct, in particular jewelry, may have incorporated therein one or more channels and/or reservoirs containing one or more fluids wherein the fluids as well as the forms and surface treatments of channels/reservoirs are selected possess physical properties so as to promote a defined interaction with the one or more fluids. The interaction influences the visual appearance of the device, such device optionally being made at least in part of precious metals, natural components such as pearls, and/or precious stones.
Method for unlocking a function using a timepiece
The present embodiments provide a method for unlocking a function of a device using a timepiece including a display device including display elements and a control device driving the display elements in a predefined animation sequence. The method including that the timepiece is placed in front of a detection device, the control device is actuated to drive the display elements in the predefined animation sequence, the predefined animation sequence is detected by the detection device, the detected animation sequence is compared to a reference animation sequence, and if the detected animation sequence is identical to the reference animation sequence, then the function is unlocked.
Intermittent display mechanism for timepiece
An intermittent display mechanism for a timepiece includes a mobile component in motion, an energy source for supplying a light emission source coupled with a light guide, and light emission control means. The light emission control means includes a flexible body bearing a flexible piezoelectric film or coating coated in an electrically insulating shell and attached to a fixed structure and including a distal zone overhanging with respect to the structure, arranged to interfere mechanically, at periodic or random times, with the mobile component during the travel thereof and move away from the rest position thereof before starting vibration of the flexible body and the piezoelectric film or coating, which constitutes an energy source, to convert the mechanical energy supplied by the mobile component into electrical energy supplied to the light emission source.
OSCILLATING WINDING WEIGHT FOR A TIMEPIECE WITH AN AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT AND TIMEPIECE FITTED WITH SUCH A WINDING WEIGHT
An oscillating winding weight for a timepiece movement including a heavy portion fixed to a connecting element intended to connect the heavy portion to an arbor integral with a movement, the oscillating winding weight being intended to be rotatably mounted on the arbor, the connecting element being made of a transparent or translucent material. According to the invention, the connecting element includes at least one coloured filter.
DISPLAY MECHANISM FOR A TIMEPIECE
A display mechanism for a timepiece movement includes a plate defining a general plane, the display mechanism including a support intended to be rigidly connected to the plate and including a bearing housing a pivot defining an axis of rotation and rigidly connected to a display member bearing at least one display surface intended to be rotated between at least first and second different positions about the axis of rotation and to be situated substantially in a plane parallel to the general plane in the first position so as to define a reading position, in which the conditions for reading by a user are optimal, the support being arranged so that the axis of rotation defined by the pivot is oriented so as to have an inclination of between 10 and 80 degrees with reference to the general plane.
TIMER KIT
A timer kit comprises a battery powered timer and a caddy assembly. The battery powered timer has a colored disk attached to a rotatable shaft. The initial position of the colored disk is manually set by an operator using a positioner accessible through a circular opening extending through a front wall of the caddy assembly. The battery powered timer is removable from the caddy assembly in a generally vertical direction behind the front wall of the caddy assembly. The caddy assembly has a receptable for holding the battery powered timer in a generally vertical orientation behind the front wall of the caddy assembly.
METHOD FOR UNLOCKING A FUNCTION USING A TIMEPIECE
The invention concerns a method for unlocking a function of a device using a timepiece, the timepiece including: a display device including display elements; control means able to drive the display elements in a predefined animation sequence; the method including the following steps: the timepiece is placed in front of detection means; the control means are actuated so that they drive the display elements in the predefined animation sequence; the predefined animation sequence is detected by the detection means; the detected animation sequence is compared to a reference animation sequence; if the detected animation sequence is identical to the reference animation sequence, then the function is unlocked.
