DECORATIVE PIECE PRODUCED BY SETTING
A decorative piece includes a support made of a material having no usable plastic deformation in which at least one hollow is arranged. The hollow is filled with a first material forming a substrate in which at least one housing is arranged. The housing is arranged so that at least one aesthetic element is housable therein. The substrate further includes a gripper elastically deforming to retain the aesthetic element in the housing. The gripper further includes at least one setting element. A method for setting an aesthetic element on a support includes taking a support provided with at least one hollow, taking at least one aesthetic element, filling the hollow with a first material, making a setting hole and a gripper in the first material, and setting the aesthetic element by placing it in the hole and by deforming the gripper so as to retain the aesthetic element.
TIMEPIECE DIAL PROVIDED WITH A THREE-DIMENSIONAL DECORATION
A dial for a timepiece, such as a watch, includes at least one three-dimensional decoration offset away from a base plate which forms part of the dial. The decoration is mounted on the base plate by an assembly of elements including a fixing screw, a support bar including a proximal end secured to the base plate by the fixing screw and a distal end attached to a first point of the lower surface of the decoration, a support foot including a proximal end held in a fixed position in the plate of the base plate and a distal end attached to a second point of the lower surface of the decoration, and a spacer which forms a lateral connection between the fixing screw and the support foot, the spacer being secured with the support bar to the base plate by the fixing screw.
COMPOSITE COMPONENT FOR HOROLOGY OR JEWELLERY WITH A CERAMIC STRUCTURE AND INSERTS
A method for fabricating a composite component for horology or jewellery including making a base from a first material, with a first visible apparent surface, and a first support surface; a structure from a second ceramic, or sapphire or at least partially amorphous material, with a second apparent surface and a second support surface, including a through bore machined over the entire thickness thereof; at least one insert made of a third material, for each through bore, and arranged to fit together in a complementary manner with this through bore; bonding this base and each structure to each other, with each first support surface and each second complementary support surface bearing against one another; securing each insert with its respective through bore.
Setting system for a timepiece or piece of jewelry
The invention relates to a setting system (1) for a timepiece or piece of jewelry (6). Said system includes: a setting mounting (3);a precious stone (2) mounted in or on the setting mounting (3); anda resilient element (5) attached to the setting mounting (3) so as to flexibly connect the setting mounting (3) to said piece (6). The resilient element (5) has a stiffness between 1.210.sup.5 N/m and 1.4 N/m10.sup.+1, and the combined mass of the setting mounting (3) and the precious stone (2) is between 310.sup.4 g and 410.sup.1 g such that the setting mounting (3) can be oscillated and maintained by movements of the wearer of the piece (6). And when oscillating, the setting mounting (3) oscillates according to an axial and/or radial movement relative to an axis (15) of symmetry at an oscillation frequency between 1 Hz and 30 Hz.
Method for crimping a stone
A method for assembling a stone on a setting support, the stone being cut to exhibit a table, a crown, a girdle and a pavilion. A substrate with a recess for the stone, the recess forming, between the substrate and the stone, a peripheral free space in the vicinity of the girdle and of the zones of the crown and of the pavilion contiguous to the girdle, the peripheral free space including a bottom having a conductive surface. Electroplating, in the peripheral free space, a metal layer in the vicinity of the girdle and of the zones of the crown and of the pavilion contiguous to the girdle, so as to confine the girdle in the metal layer to form, around the girdle, the setting support. The stone and its setting support are released from the substrate.
Method for setting a stone
A method for assembling a stone on to a mounting includes sinking the stone into an adhesive layer on a substrate and then positioning a setting sheet around the stone above the adhesive layer so as to form a peripheral free space between the setting sheet and the stone, at least at the level of the girdle and of areas of the crown and the pavilion adjacent to the girdle. Then, a metallic layer is deposited in the peripheral free space from the setting sheet, at least at the level of the girdle and of the areas of the crown and the pavilion adjacent to the girdle, such that the metallic layer and the setting sheet form the mounting.
ANIMATION MECHANISM FOR A TIMEPIECE
Disclosed is an animation mechanism for a timepiece, including a support system bearing a first decorative object intended to be animated by a rotation about a first axis of rotation and about a second axis of rotation under the effect of a drive source, wherein the support system includes a first frame mounted to pivot on a cage element about the first axis of rotation, and an inner frame mounted to pivot in the first frame about the second axis of rotation which is substantially orthogonal with respect to the first axis of rotation, the inner frame bearing a second decorative object; and wherein the inner frame is arranged to be driven by an eccentric driving element secured in rotation to a drive wheel arranged to be driven directly or indirectly by the drive source.
Watch with fob capabilities
Described herein is a watch with a plurality of electrical components and systems to generally provide a remote coupling with an additional system, such as a vehicle or entry system. The watch generally functions as a vehicle fob and security device for wearing by a user. The watch includes a bezel portion having a generally hollow channel configured for the receipt of airflow to generally direct the airflow to form a sound, wherein the bezel can be utilized as a whistle.

Watch dial with three-dimensional decoration, and assembly tools
A dial assembly for a timepiece includes a base plate on which feet are fixed. The dial assembly supports a three-dimensional decoration which includes at least one offset element at a remove from the base plate and fixed to the base plate through at least one foot. The at least one offset element includes at least one bush provided to be pressed in on an upper support abutting on a shoulder of this foot. The dial assembly includes a removable fitting which is used for pressing in all the bushes of the dial assembly. The dial assembly includes, opposite a lower support of each foot, a support pin of this lower support.
