Electronic timepiece
An electronic timepiece includes a first display section including a first rotatable part and a processor. In the first display section, a predetermined number of display contents being a same display content is simultaneously displayed at predetermined angle intervals in a rotation angle range of the first rotatable part, wherein the predetermined number is two or more. The first display section makes a display pattern that shows change in the display content appear the predetermined number of times cyclically according to rotation of the first rotatable part. When causing the first display section to display a first display content of first display contents included in the display pattern, the processor selects an angular position from angular positions for the first display content in the predetermined number of display patterns, and causes the first rotatable part to rotate to the selected angular position.

Electronic timepiece, satellite signal receiving device, and method for controlling satellite signal receiving device
An electronic timepiece includes: a power source; a correlation computation unit executing correlation computation processing of sequentially computing a correlation value between a signal sample and a plurality of codes corresponding to a plurality of satellites; a power source voltage determination unit to which a voltage of a power source is inputted and which determines whether the inputted voltage is lower than a first threshold or not, or whether the voltage exceeds a second threshold set to be equal to or higher than the first threshold; and a correlation computation control unit controlling the correlation computation unit to interrupt the correlation computation processing when the power source voltage determination unit determines that the voltage is lower than the first threshold, and to resume the correlation computation processing when the power source voltage determination unit determines that the voltage exceeds the second threshold.
Movement and electronic timepiece
Provided is a movement enabling easily providing an indicator position detection mechanism in a movement enabling changing the locations of an indicator by changing the configuration of a wheel train. The movement includes an indicator wheel to which an indicator is attached; a motor that drives the indicator wheel; a detection wheel train used to detect a position of the indicator; and a main plate to which the indicator wheel, the motor, and the detection wheel train are disposed. The main plate is configured to enable selectively disposing the indicator wheel to a first position or a second position that is different from the first position. The detection wheel train is disposed to the same position whether the indicator wheel is disposed to the first position or the second position.
Electronic device with coil for wireless charging and haptic outputs
An electronic watch may include a housing, a display positioned at least partially within the housing, a transparent cover coupled to the housing and at least partially covering the display, a battery, and a coil coupled to the battery and configured to, during a battery charging operation, supply a first current to the battery and, during a haptic output operation, receive a second current from the battery to produce a haptic output. The electronic watch may further include a ferromagnetic element positioned at least partially within the housing and movable relative to the housing. The second current may cause the coil to produce a magnetic field, and the haptic output may be produced as a result of an interaction between the magnetic field and the ferromagnetic element that causes the ferromagnetic element to move relative to the housing.
