Method for producing a ceramic with a mother-of-pearl effect, particularly for watchmaking
A method may produce a ceramic part with a mother-of-pearl effect, in particular for watchmaking. Such methods may include: forming a ceramic body; depositing a layer of an oxy-nitride component of the OxNy type on at least a portion of the ceramic body; and oxidizing at least a portion of the oxy-nitride layer, preferably by heating.
TIMEPIECE PART, MOVEMENT, TIMEPIECE EXTERIOR, TIMEPIECE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TIMEPIECE PART
Provided are a timepiece part, a movement, a timepiece exterior, a timepiece, and a method for manufacturing a timepiece part, which can obtain a novel visual effect. The timepiece part includes: a base material containing copper; and a denatured film disposed on the base material, in which the denatured film contains a bubble.
TIMEPIECE COMPONENT MADE OF POLISHED TITANIUM ALLOY
The timepiece or jewellery component includes at least one part made of titanium alloy, one surface of which is polished. In some embodiments, the arithmetic mean roughness Ra of the polished surface can be less than 15 nm, even less than 12 nm, even less than 10 nm, and/or the mean total roughness Rz of the polished surface can be less than 90 nm, or even less than 80 nm, or even less than 60 nm. In some embodiments, the titanium alloy contains grains, notably phase grains, and the difference between the mean height of the grains, notably of the phase grains, of the polished titanium alloy surface is less than 150 nm, or even less than 120 nm, or even less than 100 nm.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PART BASED ON MULTIPLE PRECIOUS METALS, AND RESULTING PART
The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a mechanical part based on at least two precious or noble metals or alloys thereof, the process comprising a step of atomizing the various precious metals, positioning the resulting powders in a mold so as to form an assembly of unmixed powders, and a step of sintering at temperatures below the melting temperatures of the metals used. The invention also covers a mechanical part produced by such a process, as well as a timepiece comprising such a mechanical part.
Method for manufacturing a silicon balance spring
A method for manufacturing a silicon timepiece component (1) with a functional external profile.
EXTERNAL PART FOR HOROLOGY, JEWELLERY OR FASHION ACCESSORIES COMPRISING TITANIUM OXIDE LAYERS
A method for decorating an external part (10) for horology, jewellery or fashion accessories, including the steps of: forming a first interference (110) layer of titanium oxide over the entire decorative face (101) of a titanium substrate (100) by anodising the decorative face (101) at a voltage V1; machining a portion of the first interference layer (110) so as to form at least one opening (111) leading to a portion of the decorative face (101); and forming a second interference layer (120) of titanium oxide by anodising the portion at a voltage V2 lower than voltage V1.
