Device time-keeping standard adjustment
One embodiment provides a method, including: monitoring, using an accelerometer integrated with an information handling device, gravitational acceleration experienced by the information handling device; identifying, based on the monitoring, a change in the gravitational acceleration from a first gravitational acceleration metric to a second gravitational acceleration metric; and adjusting, responsive to the identifying, a time-keeping standard referenced by the information handling device based on the second gravitational acceleration metric. Other aspects are described and claimed.
TIME DISPLAY DEVICE, TIME DISPLAY METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A time display device includes a display; an operation receiving unit that receives a selection operation of a city by a user; a memory that stores a time piece image and a map image including a plurality of city locations; and a processor, wherein said processor performs: reading out the time piece image and said map image from the memory; identifying one of the city locations in the map image read from the memory as corresponding to a location of the selected city; generating a display image by overlapping the map image including said identified one of the city locations and the timepiece image that is adjusted to indicate a local time of the selected city such that a center of the timepiece image coincides with said identified one of the city locations in the map image; and causing said display image to be displayed on the display.
Timepiece with internal antenna
A timepiece includes a case that is made of a conductive material, a bezel that is made of a nonconductive material, a patch antenna that is disposed inside the case and at the back side of the dial, and a bezel that is made of a ceramic.
Electronic timepiece
An electronic timepiece includes a storage unit and a processor. The storage unit associates and stores local time information with a corresponding geographical position. The local time information corresponds to each of a plurality of predetermined geographical positions. The processor acquires local time information corresponding to a geographical position selected from the plurality of geographical positions, as update information of a predetermined region including the selected geographical position. When update information corresponding to a target position for setting local time is acquired, the processor sets the local time by referring to the acquired update information. When the update information corresponding to a target position for setting local time is not acquired, the processor sets the local time by referring to the local time information.
Electronic timepiece and program
An electronic timepiece includes a first display unit and a second display unit that display time. A receiving unit receives a time modification command including time information for modifying a first time displayed by the first display unit. A control unit outputs a first change command for automatically changing the first time displayed by the first display unit into a modified time different from a second time displayed by the second display unit based on the received time information, and outputs a second change command for changing the second time displayed by the second display unit into the first time displayed by the first display unit before the first time is changed into the modified time. A display drive unit changes the first time and the second time based on the first change command and the second change command, respectively, from the control unit.
Timeline user interface
According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus comprising at least one processing core, at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code being configured to, with the at least one processing core, cause the apparatus at least to obtain at least one of a sunrise time and a sunset time for a current location of the apparatus; obtain a plurality of calendar events from a calendar application; display a time axis on a screen, and display, relative to the time axis, a plurality of symbols corresponding to at least part of the plurality of calendar events, and display, relative to the time axis, at least one of: an indication of sunrise corresponding to the sunrise time, and an indication of sunset corresponding to the sunset time.
Time display device, time display method, and recording medium
A smartphone includes: a touch panel display that performs display and receives an operation by a user; flash memory; a CPU; and a time display program that is stored in the flash memory and is configured so as to be executed by the CPU. This time display program includes: a command for causing the touch panel display to receive a selection operation of a specified city by the user; and a command for causing the touch panel display to display a center of a local time display of the specified city so as to be superimposed on a display location of the specified city in a map showing the specified city.
Electronic timepiece
An electronic timepiece includes a clocking unit, a storage unit, a setting selection unit which selects, as daylight saving time implementation information, daylight saving time implementation rule or user setting that specifies whether to implement summer time, and a local time acquisition unit which acquires local time at a predetermined point. The local time acquisition unit includes a movement determination unit which determines, when the setting selection unit selects the user setting, whether a previous point and a new point belong to a predetermined range in which local time counted at the previous point is equal to local time counted at the new point, and a daylight saving time implementation information switching unit which acquires local time on the basis of the daylight saving time implementation rule when the previous point and the new point do not belong to the predetermined range.
Time zone sensitive calendar
Methods, computer-readable storage mediums and systems provide for displaying a time zone sensitive calendar. According to aspects of the disclosure, information is accessed that is associated with the time zone sensitive calendar. The information is used in determining the different time zones to include in a calendar view. Each of the different time periods in the calendar view are associated with one of the time zones. The calendar view for the time zone sensitive calendar is then displayed.
ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE
An electronic timepiece includes indicators, an operation receiving unit, a timing unit and a processor. The operation receiving unit receives an operation performed by a user. The timing unit counts a date and time at present. The processor carries out operation control of the indicators and obtains a local time setting based on a time difference between a predetermined standard time and a local time at a target position. The processor makes at least apart of the indicators display the local time in accordance with the operation received by the operation receiving unit and obtains the local time setting based on a difference between the displayed local time and the date and time counted by the timing unit.
