REMOTE ALARM CLOCK
The alarm clock system provided with an alarm clock base unit and a remote alarm controller such that the current system does not afford a sleeping person additional rest after the initial activation of an alarm. The alarm can be deactivated only from a distance, thereby requiring the sleeper to get out of bed and use the remote to deactivate the alarm. The alarm clock system with a remote control does not allow indefinite postponement of wakefulness, thereby solving the purpose for which it is deployed. The large, highly visible display allows placement of the device at any convenient location, rather than only in close proximity to the sleeper. The alarm clock also displays the current date. The clock is capable of continued operation using power from rechargeable batteries.
ALARM CLOCK HAVING A MOTION SENSOR AND MOBILE DEVICE CONNECTIVITY
The alarm clock having a motion sensor and mobile device connectivity is an alarm clock providing connectivity with a cellular telephone, smartphone or any similar suitable type of mobile device. The alarm clock having a motion sensor and mobile device connectivity includes an optical projector for projecting an image representative of a display screen of the mobile device on an external display surface, such as a wall or a ceiling. The alarm clock having a motion sensor and mobile device connectivity includes a housing for receiving a clock controller. A clock display, audio alarm, motion sensor, optical projector and a device interface are each mounted on the housing and are in communication with the clock controller. Actuation of the motion sensor by detected movement of a user's hand or the like selectively actuates the optical projector to project the image representative of the display screen of the mobile device.

Electronic device and smart method for controlling alarm
An electronic device and a smart method for controlling an alarm are provided. The smart method includes, controlling a collection device to collect physiological parameters of a user when an alarm device of the electronic device sounds an alarm at a schedules time, obtaining the physiological parameters collected by the collection device, and determining whether the user is asleep or awake according to the obtained physiological parameters. The alarm device is disabled if the user is awake.

MEDICATION REMINDER SYSTEM AND METHOD, A CONTROL APPARATUS, AND A COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A medication reminder system, comprising a control device operable to receive data representing a dosage regime for the medication for use with an electronic tag, the tag communicatively coupled to a display device to be placed on or in association with an item containing the medication, the tag including a transceiver operable to send and receive data to and from the control device, wherein the display device is operable to display an indicator representing the dosage regime or a parameter associated with the dosage regime.
WAKE-UP ALARM METHOD
A method for an alarm silencing or suppression routine following activation of a wake-up alarm on an electronic device (42). The method comprises, following the alarm activation, monitoring (14) light levels at a light sensor (44) of the device and automatically silencing (20) or otherwise suppressing the alarm signal responsive to sensing (16) a light level at the sensor above a pre-defined threshold. Following alarm signal suppression, a further confirmatory monitoring period follows in which light levels at the sensor continue to be monitored (22). If they fall to below a further predefined threshold (26), or below the original silencing threshold, the alarm signal is reactivated (28). This ensures that a user has not returned to a darkened environment a short space of time after alarm silencing, which might lead to the user falling back to sleep.
Scheduling device for customizable electronic notifications
Sleep alerts associated with an alarm can be scheduled using a first electronic device. Once scheduled, data can be collected from a second electronic device. This data can be used to determine an appropriate device, other than the first electronic device, at which the sleep alert can be presented. Once determined, the information can be sent to the appropriate device for presenting the sleep alert.

Method and apparatus for controlling alarm clock
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose methods and apparatuses for controlling an alarm clock. Processing circuitry of an apparatus determines an alarm time for the alarm clock of a first terminal device. When a time difference between a present time of the first terminal device and the alarm time is determined to reach a preset duration, the processing circuitry determines whether a second terminal device is located within a reachable distance from the first terminal device. The second terminal device is associated with a first wearable device used by a user. When the second terminal device is determined to be located within the reachable distance from the first terminal device, the processing circuitry acquires, from the first wearable device, a sleep signal indicating a sleeping status of the user, and controls the alarm clock and a second wearable device associated with the first terminal device based on the sleep signal.
