Adaptive watch
A watch or other type of portable electronic console that employs a number of different functions in order to improve its usability. The watch may, for example, allow a user to connect the watch to one or more remote electronic devices, such as an electronic performance sensor or MP3 player. The watch then displays information related to the connected electronic devices. Still further, the watch may allow a user to control the operation of one or more connected remote electronic devices. Thus, if the watch is connected to a remote speed/distance monitor employing a calibration variable, then the watch may allow the user to adjust the calibration variable.
Electronic Watch And Method For Controlling Electronic Watch
An electronic watch includes a plurality of hands configured to display time, a power generator, an power storage unit configured to store power generated by the power generator, an indicator hand configured to display a power storage amount in the power storage unit in a plurality of stages, a controller configured to perform control switching between a normal time display mode in which time is displayed by the hand and a power save mode in which at least one of the hands is stopped. The controller detects the power storage amount and updates display of the based on the power storage amount by the indicator hand during the power save mode.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing system include plural deformable devices to be worn on a living body for use, each device being configured to be detachably attached to at least another one of the devices, in which each device includes a display unit, and a processor, when communication among the plural devices is in a disconnection state, the processor of each device independently controls display of the corresponding one of the display units, and when the plural devices are in a communication state, the processors work cooperatively so as to control the display of the display units of the devices.

Reduced Power Electrical Illumination For A Timepiece
A method for providing illumination to a timepiece includes providing an array of LEDs arranged around a periphery of a substantially planar surface such that each LED in the array of LEDs emits light toward a center of the periphery. The substantially planar surface overlays a timepiece movement having a watch hand pinion that extends through a hole in the substantially planar surface. The substantially planar surface is bounded by a casing of the timepiece. The method also includes situating each of the LEDs in a diffuser layer extending across the substantially planar surface to scatter light emitted by each LED. The method also includes applying power to the array of LEDs such that each LED is driven at a current lower than a specified current for normal operation of the LED.

Electronic device, control method, and recording medium for controlling switching first controller and second controller to communicator
An electronic device includes a memory; a first processor; a second processor for which power consumption is lower than power consumption of the first processor; a communicator that communicates with an external device; and a switch that switches a connection destination of the communicator to the first processor or the second processor. The second processor is configured to, in a case in which a condition for transitioning to a power suppression state that is an operating state in which power consumption is suppressed is satisfied, connect the communicator by the switch. The first processor is configured to, in a case in which a condition for transitioning to a normal state that is a normal operating state is satisfied, connect the communicator by the switch.
Electronic Watch
The electronic watch includes a controller configured to perform switching between a time display mode which displays a time, a modification mode in which at least one of hands is moved in accordance with an operation of the operation device, and a power saving mode which consumes less power than in the time display mode by stopping at least one of the hands. The controller switches to the power saving mode when a battery voltage is detected to be less than a first voltage threshold value while the time display mode is performed, and switches to the power saving mode when the battery voltage to be less than a second voltage threshold value which is lower than the first voltage threshold value while the modification mode is performed.
