A mounting base for use with a wirelessly locatable tag may include a base portion defining a latching member configured to engage a wirelessly locatable tag to releasably retain the wirelessly locatable tag to the mounting base, a contact block attached to the base portion and configured to be positioned at least partially within a battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, the contact block defining a top side and a peripheral side. The mounting base may further include a first conductive member positioned along the peripheral side of the contact block and configured to contact a first battery contact in the battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, a second conductive member outwardly biased from the top side of the contact block, the second conductive member configured to contact a second battery contact in the battery cavity of the tag, and a power cable coupled to the base portion.
TIMEPIECE
A timepiece is provided which ensures connection reliability and improves antenna characteristics. This timepiece includes a wristwatch case which houses a timepiece module, and an antenna which is provided on the upper surface of the wristwatch case in a discontinuous annular shape along the circumferential direction of the wristwatch case and electrically connected to the timepiece module in the wristwatch case from outside the wristwatch case. As a result, since the antenna is electrically connected to the timepiece module in the wristwatch case from outside the wristwatch case, the antenna and the timepiece module are unfailingly and favorably connected to each other. Accordingly, the connection reliability of the antenna is ensured and radio waves are favorably received. In addition, the reception performance and the antenna gain are improved, whereby the antenna characteristics are improved.

Electronic device
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a main body on which a controller is mounted, a strap pin connector protruding from the main body, at least a portion of the strap pin connector having conductivity, a strap pin spaced apart from the main body and connected to the strap pin connector, at least a portion of the strap pin having conductivity, and an antenna pattern disposed in an insulating portion of an outer surface of the main body, connected to a wireless communication unit, and having conductivity. The strap pin connector, the strap pin, and the antenna pattern are electrically connected to one another and form an antenna that transmits and receives a radio wave.
ANTENNA ASSEMBLIES FOR WATCH BANDS
A watch band for a watch can include an antenna that is operable for wireless communication with other devices. The antenna can be embedded within a body of the watch band to protect the antenna from an external environment and to conceal it from view. The antennas can adaptably stretch, bend, and flex with the watch band body, thereby avoiding damage from applied forces while also maintaining the compliance and comfort of the watch band while worn by a user.
Electronic device including antenna
An electronic device is provided which includes an outer housing including a first surface, a second surface, and a side surface, wherein a coupling part is formed at a periphery of the outer housing, a fixing part, a coupling member disposed such that the fixing part is coupled to and supported by the outer housing, a printed circuit board seated inside the outer housing, a processor mounted on the printed circuit board, and a communication module mounted on the printed circuit board and electrically connected with the processor. The coupling member is coupled to one end of the fixing part and to the coupling part, and at least one side of the coupling member is connected with the communication module through a communication signal line such that the coupling member operates as an antenna radiator.
Wearable electronic device adapted for supporting wireless communications
A wearable electronic device includes a conductive housing, which has a main body and at least a first pair of conductive lugs external to and mechanically coupled to the main body. The main body of the conductive housing forms at least part of an antenna structure that is adapted for at least one of generating or receiving the wireless radio frequency signal. The wearable electronic device further includes a non-conductive pin, which extends between the ends of the conductive lugs, and a use location attachment. The use location attachment includes a plurality of segments, where at least one of the segments, which most closely mechanically couples to the non-conductive pin and the first pair of conductive lugs, is nonconductive, and where other ones of the plurality of segments of the use location attachment are conductive.
