Tilt-lock adjuster with tension indicator

A tilt-lock adjuster system includes a tilt-lock adjuster that is used to tighten and loosen webbing. The tilt-lock adjuster includes an indicator configured to indicate when proper tension is applied to the webbing. The tilt-lock adjuster has a frame to which the indicator is slidably coupled and a web bar slidably coupled to the frame. The web bar is asymmetric for one way assembly with the frame. The web bar has a web engagement notch that is concave for enhancing locking of the webbing to the frame. The web bar has a frame guide slidably engaged to the frame. The frame defines a web opening in which the frame engagement ledge extends. The frame guide of the web bar includes a key guide foot. The frame has an orientation notch configured to receive the key guide foot of the web bar.

Belt buckle

A buckle according to the present invention has a fixed loop end and an adjustable loop end. The adjustable loop end includes two belt strap openings separated by a central bar with a pair of guiding tabs on opposite ends of the central bar that extend outward from the central bar. Other embodiments of the buckle include a protrusion extending from a lower surface of the fixed loop end. In other embodiments, the adjustable loop end and central bar are configured to have male and female joint portions to aid in preventing unnecessary rotation of the buckle. Optionally the adjustable loop end may include a scalloped lip along its leading edge of the lower surface.

Cord lock

A cord lock has a housing with an interior cavity and an opening extending between the front and the back for receiving a cord, and an actuator having two legs that are configured to slide within the interior cavity of the housing. A spring is disposed between the housing and the actuator to bias the actuator in a raised position relative to the housing. There is a cam disposed in the interior cavity of the housing. The bottom of the cam is rotatably connected to the housing and the top is rotatably connected to the legs of the actuator. In a resting position, the spring presses the top of the cam against the housing such that when a cord is extended through the opening, the cam locks the cord in place between the cam and the housing. Depressing the actuator compresses the spring and rotates the cam.

The bungee fastener has a tapered chute that accepts a locking slider. A channel forms an opening in a side of the body thereby allowing passage of the slider through the channel. A plurality of slider teeth along a portion of the slider within the tapered chute may lock onto a bungee when the slider is slid into a locked position. The slider moves along the channel, thereby selectively narrowing the tapered chute with the slider teeth as the slider is slid into the locked position and enlarging the tapered chute as the slider is slid into the unlocked position. The bungee fastener may include a single slider or a plurality of sliders.

SEALING STRIP, BUCKLE ASSEMBLY AND CLAMP

The present invention belongs to the technical field of isolation sealing, and particularly discloses a sealing strip, which includes a strip-shaped thermal insulating layer and a supporting core rod. Clamps are arranged on the supporting core rod; and the supporting core rod is matched and connected with the strip-shaped thermal insulating layer. According to the sealing strip provided by the present invention, the supporting core rod in the sealing strip provides rigidity for the sealing strip, so that the sealing strip has rigidity, the number of the used clamps is reduced, and automatic mounting can be achieved. The clamps are connected with the sealing strip through the supporting core rod, so that the structure of the strip-shaped thermal insulating layer of the sealing strip is not destroyed, and the sealing and thermal insulating effect is ensured.

WEB ADJUSTER
20200163418 · 2020-05-28 ·

Web adjusters for use with occupant restraint systems are described herein. In some embodiments, a web adjuster can include first and second cross bars that are operably coupled to a frame, and a release member that is pivotally coupled to the frame and configured to cooperate with the second cross bar. In use, a web can be routed through the web adjuster so that it passes between the first and second cross bars. A user can increase tension in the web by pulling on a free end of the web. When the free end of the web is released, it drives the first cross bar toward the second cross bar to fixedly clamp the web therebetween and maintain the tension in the web. To release the tension in the web, the user can rotate the release member away from the frame, which in turn enables the second cross bar to move away from the first cross bar, thereby enabling the web to pass between the two cross bars and through the adjuster.
