Lever weightlifting belt
A weightlifting belt includes a flexible strap portion with a first major surface (e.g., a front), a second major surface (e.g., a back), a first longitudinal end, a second longitudinal end, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side. An anchor assembly is in contact with the first major surface of the flexible strap portion near the first longitudinal end of the flexible strap portion. A lever-actuated hook assembly is in contact with the first major surface of the flexible strap portion near the second longitudinal end of the flexible strap portion. The lever-actuated hook assembly is configured to engage the anchor assembly so as to hold the first longitudinal end of the strap portion close to, or in physical contact with, the second longitudinal end of the strap portion so as to form a loop that can fit around a waist of a human.
Extremity tourniquet with locking buckle
A tourniquet for application to a patient's limb in an emergency situation, and a method for its application. The tourniquet includes a tension-sensing mechanism used to establish a baseline tension in a loop around an injured limb, and a tension-increasing mechanism to reduce the circumference of the loop and tighten the tourniquet as required beyond the baseline tension. The tension-sensing mechanism may be incorporated in a buckle in which when sufficient tension is developed in the loop a pin protrudes to engage and maintain tension in a strap member which is part of the loop. A latch may be incorporated in the buckle to keep it in a condition in which the pin protrudes to engage the strap and maintain the baseline tension. A release tab operable to release the latch is located where it is protected against inadvertent operation.
Belt buckle
A belt has a strap defining a fixed end and a loose end and a buckle engaging the strap. The buckle has a frame defining a channel between outer and inner portions thereof and the outer portion extends beyond the lower portion. A prong protrudes from an undersurface of the outer portion into the channel to engage one of a series of holes of the loose end of the strap passing through the channel. The buckle also has a separable chape connecting the fixed end of the strap and which fits through a rear entrance of the channel to releasably connect to the inner portion of the frame.
Apparel belt and buckle apparatus
In an example, a belt has a first end and a second end. A buckle with connectors and a slider is attached to one of the two ends of the belt. The buckle removably attaches to another of the two ends of the belt. A belt overlap extends through both sides of the buckle to cover openings or holes formed in at least one of the first end and the second end of the belt. The belt and buckle apparatus provides a balanced or symmetrical appearance even when it is worn by a user.
Buckle
The buckle of the present invention is a buckle, of which engagement claw can be engaged with a serrate engagement groove of a band. The buckle includes: a buckle main body composed of a base plate and a roof frame, and two side plates connecting the base plate and the roof frame; and an operation piece being installed inside the roof frame, and having the engagement claw that can be engaged with the engagement groove of the band. The operation piece is movably supported by a connecting shaft connecting the two side plates in an intermediate point. The buckle main body is provided with a control piece for controlling a swing of the operation piece. The engagement claw is engaged with the engagement groove of the band, and the control piece functions as a spring for biasing the engagement claw toward the engagement groove side in such a locked state.
BUCKLE FOR WEIGHTLIFTING BELT
A buckle configured to hold a wrapped weightlifting belt and provide fine adjustments to the snugness or tightness of the weightlifting belt is disclosed. The buckle may include an adjustable element, which allows the buckle to pull-in or ease the two ends of the weightlifting belt. The adjustable element may be a worm screw that can be rotated by a user to move a car of the buckle relative to the body of the buckle. The car may have legs that hold onto one end of the weightlifting belt via holes in the weightlifting belt, while the other end of the weightlifting belt is fixed to a fastener plate of the buckle. The buckle may include a wedge and lever design to latch the buckle closed. Additionally, the buckle's rugged design allows for the manufacture thereof with polymeric materials using low-cost manufacturing techniques, like injections molding.
Symmetric garment belt
The present invention is directed to a belt device (200), comprising: a strap (11); a buckle (10) comprising a front panel (10a) and a back panel (10b); a fastener, for preventing from the strap to loosen; a first (21) and a second (22) entrances, for entry of opposite edges of the strap (11) into the buckle (10); an exit (23) for a trail (13) to an inner side of the belt device; a curved passage (20) connecting one of the entrances with the exit (23), thereby when wearing the belt device, concealing the trail (13), and providing a symmetry to the belt device.
