Apparatus control system, mobile terminal and program

Apparatus control system includes control device controlling operation of apparatuses and portable mobile terminal communicable with the control device. In the control device, control unit controls each apparatus in accordance with control schedule stored in device-side storage unit and control request from the mobile terminal. In the mobile terminal, date and time setting unit sets arbitrary date and time as set date and time. Terminal-side storage unit stores terminal-side schedule in which control contents are associated with control dates and times for each apparatus. Simulation unit simulates operating state of each apparatus assuming that the apparatus is operating at the set date and time set by the date and time setting unit, using the terminal-side schedule. Apparatus state reflection unit outputs control request to the control device to cause the control device to control each apparatus such that the apparatus is in the operating state simulated by the simulation unit.

The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for operating a safety system in a floating wind turbine. The floating wind turbine comprises one or more sensors 202, 203, and receives a fore-aft inclination signal from the sensor 202, wherein the fore-aft inclination signal indicates an inclination of said floating wind turbine in a fore-aft direction. A side-to-side inclination signal is also received from the sensor 203, wherein the side-to-side inclination signal indicates an inclination of said floating wind turbine in a side-to-side direction. An operational parameter of the floating wind turbine is altered based on either or both of said fore-aft inclination signal and said side-to-side inclination signal.

A passive component with temperature compensation and an electronic device using the same are provided. The electronic device includes a central processor unit (CPU), a filter and a power conversion circuit. The filter includes the passive component and a variable resistor. The passive component includes an inductor and a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) resistor. The NTC resistor is contacted with a surface of the inductor, and the NTC resistor and the inductor are disposed in a package. The power conversion circuit provides a current information to the CPU according to a partial voltage difference of the filter. The power conversion circuit controls an output voltage through the filter according to a first control signal of the CPU, so as to provide the output voltage. The electronic device further includes an embedded controller. The embedded controller controls the variable resistor according to a second control signal of the CPU.

VEHICLE TRAVELING CONTROL APPARATUS

A traveling control apparatus includes an operation amount calculating unit for calculating the amount of operations for controlling at least one of a driving mechanism and a braking mechanism of a vehicle to make the difference between a target position and the actual position of the vehicle small; a determining unit for determining whether the actual position follows the target position; and a target position setting unit for setting the target position that changes with time passage, when it is determined by the determining unit that the actual position follows the target position. The target position setting unit sets the target position so a change in the target position with the time passage becomes smaller than that in the case where it is determined that the actual position follows the target position, when it is determined by the determining unit that the actual position does not follow the target position.

Fault detection and isolation using a common reference clock
09823637 · 2017-11-21 · ·

A fault detection and isolation system for distribution electric power lines utilizing a remote reference voltage signal, multiple three-phase current monitors producing asynchronous event data, and a common reference clock. A voltage measurement obtained for a power line at a substation may be synchronized with multiple current phase measurements taken at a power monitoring location along that particular power line. The same voltage measurement may be similarly synchronized with current measurements taken at multiple current monitoring locations along the power line. As a result, the same voltage measurement may be synchronized with current measurements taken multiple tap points along the power allowing a fault on a tapped line segment to be identified, located and isolated. An alternative embodiment utilizes differential current analysis utilizing current measurements from adjacent current monitoring locations correlated to a common reference clock to locate faults and therefore does not require a voltage measurement.
