BUCKLE DEVICE
In a cover of a buckle device, an engagement hook of a side wall of an upper cover is fit together with an engagement groove of a side wall of a lower cover to assemble the upper cover to the lower cover. When the side wall of the upper cover receives an external force, a holder of a buckle switch is sandwiched between a side plate of a buckle body and a rib of the lower cover such that the side plate receives the external force. Accordingly, the rigidity at the engagement hook of the cover is able to be increased.
BUCKLE COMPRISING PAWLS BIASED BY MAGNETIC REPELLING FORCE
A buckle with a first pawl that is biased by a pair of magnets that are oriented in opposition to each other to provide a repelling force, and with a second pawl that is biased by another pair of magnets that are oriented in opposition to each other to provide a repelling force.
Belt lock
A belt buckle for a vehicle seat belt. The belt buckle includes a frame in which at least one locking element adapted to lock a plug-in tongue insertable into the belt buckle and an ejection element adapted to eject the plug-in tongue are provided. Each of the ejection element and the locking element is adapted to adopt a locked position and a home position. The locking element is adjacent to a web of the ejection element in the home position and thus blocked in its home position. The front end of the web has a ramp-like bearing surface against which the locking element slidingly engages.
Buckle component
A buckle component (1, 2) having a main body (3) and a clamping web (4), the main body (3) having a belt-receiving opening (5), and the clamping web (4) being mounted displaceably on the main body (3) in the belt-receiving opening (5) for clamping a belt (6), which is guided around the clamping web (4), between the clamping web (4) and an edge (7) of the main body (3) bounding the belt-receiving opening (5). The buckle component (1, 2) additionally has a flap (8) which is mounted pivotably on the main body (3) by a pivot joint (9), and the flap (8) has a clamping surface (10) for clamping the belt (6) between the clamping surface (10) of the flap (8) and the clamping web (4) in a clamping position of the flap (8).
Seatbelt safety release device
A vehicle safety release system effecting an automated release and having, inter alia, a seatbelt, an integrated circuit (control unit), a power source, a transmitter, and a collision detection sensor, is contemplated. The safety release system also contemplates a manual release built to work in tandem with the system's automated release. The safety release system may be operated by both a manual input and the input from one or more collision detection sensors. When a push button is depressed a signal is sent to the control unit to release the seatbelt. Aspects of embodiments of the invention also contemplate access to the seatbelt's base latch to enable removal, if needed.
BUCKLE DEVICE
At a present buckle device, lateral slits are formed in lateral portions of a slider of a buckle switch. A tab is formed at a portion, which is further toward a device upper side than the lateral slit, of a lateral portion that is at a device left side. A portion, which is further toward a device lower side than the lateral slit, at the lateral portion is an elastic portion, and a magnet is held thereat. Therefore, even if the tab receives pushing force from an ejector and is deformed, deformation arising at the elastic portion can be suppressed, and holding of the magnet can be stabilized.
SEAT BELT BUCKLE RELEASE ASSIST DEVICE
An independent buckle release assist device that is a shaped lever that allows a user to gain mechanical advantage to release a typical seat belt release button. The device uses the seat restraint as a leverage point to create the mechanical advantage required to reduce the force of actuating the button. The release assist device is also designed to both stay mounted at least partially around the seat restraint and to be removably mounted to the seat restraint.
Shell element for the buckle cover of a seat belt buckle, seat belt buckle and method for producing a shell element
A shell element for the buckle cover of a seat belt buckle is disclosed. The shell element comprises a base body made of a hard elastomer and an outer and an inner surface. So that when the buckle cover bears against a further vehicle element with a hard surface, no wear and no undesirable noise is generated and so that the seat belt buckle permanently has attractive visual and haptic properties, a further element made of a soft elastomer is directly connected to the base body and is connected thereto by a material and/or positive connection, said further element forming at least one part of the outer surface of the shell element.
Seatbelt buckle intrusion protection device
A device for preventing protrusion of a seatbelt anchorage cable into a seat belt system buckle during operation of a pretensioner coupled with the cable and a buckle assembly, the cable of a type affixed at a first end to the pretensioner, and at a second end to the buckle assembly. The cable further having an end wrap forming a loop around a rivet affixed to a frame of the buckle assembly with the cable loop wrapping around the rivet. The device having a feature positioned adjacent to the cable loop and blocking movement of the loop into the buckle. Embodiments include; providing features of a buckle housing in the form of a tab which blocks motion of the cable loop, retainer ring element attached to the buckle frame having features which embrace the cable loop, and clips which can be attached to the buckle assembly, embracing the cable attachment.
Buckle device
A buckle device includes a buckle body that retains a tongue through which a webbing worn across an occupant is inserted; a fixing plate that is fixed to a vehicle seat and that includes a coupling webbing insertion hole; and a coupling webbing that is formed in a belt shape and that couples the buckle body and the fixing plate together. The buckle device further includes a boot that covers the coupling webbing. Moreover, the boot is provided with an engagement protrusion portion that engages with the coupling webbing insertion hole so as to suppress rattling of the boot against the fixing plate.
