Method of performing a cleaning operation using a water jet device

A system and method for cleaning of heat exchanger tubes including an assembly, an indexer, and a communication device provided with specialized software and programming. The indexer includes orthogonally arranged first and second arms. A trolley and sensors are provided on the indexer arms. One or more lances are provided on the trolley to deliver water jets into the openings. Sensors measure displacement as the trolley is moved relative to the heat exchanger's face plate. An operator controls the system from a distance away using the communication device. During setup, the pattern of the face plate is learned and mapped utilizing information from the sensors as one of the inputs. This information is utilized to help navigate the face plate during a subsequent cleaning operation. A kit for retrofitting existing X-Y indexers is also disclosed.

A system and method for obtaining real-time data regarding the condition of a crop and planning and executing an irrigation cycle in response to the data. The invention uses an unmanned aerial vehicle to survey the conditions within an irrigated area. The irrigation system includes components to vary the amount of water dispensed within particular areas. The data obtained is used to create an irrigation schedule that the irrigation system then carries out. For example, surveyed areas that contain more moisture may be given relatively less water during the next irrigation cycle. The data obtained may also be used to alter a scheduled delivery of fertilizer, pesticide, or some other substance.

HVAC SELF-BALANCING COMPONENTS AND CONTROLS
20230236612 · 2023-07-27 ·

An all-inclusive fluid flow device that can variably magnify differential pressure, measure, and control a flow of a fluid is described. Various procedures, including measuring, controlling, balancing, or calibration procedures can leverage a variably magnified differential pressure measurement. Differential pressure measurements can be measured across the fluid flow device such that a first pressure measurement is taken upstream of the fluid flow device while a second pressure measurement is taken downstream of the fluid flow device. Moreover, one or more of the various pressure measurements, and in particular the downstream pressure measurement, can be performed at stagnation zone where the flow has stagnated. Such can provide significant magnification and/or turndown capabilities and the magnification can vary based on a damper position and/or apertures dimensions.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CALIBRATING AND TUNING A MASS FLOW CONTROLLER
20230004176 · 2023-01-05 · ·

A mass flow control apparatus and methods for calibrating and tuning the mass flow apparatus are provided. The mass flow apparatus can be calibrated by receiving a calibration input signal that provides one or more properties of a gas that is flowing through a main fluid flow path and performing one or more measurements, using one or more sensors, on the gas. The calibration includes determining a calibration parameter based on the results of the one or more measurements and the calibration input signal and adjusting a proportional valve, based on the calibration parameter, to adjust a flow rate, of the gas through the apparatus, to match a setpoint flow rate.

A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE COOLANT FLOW OF LIQUID-COOLED POWER BATTERY, SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE
20230236614 · 2023-07-27 ·

The present disclosure provides a method for controlling the coolant flow of a liquid-cooled power battery, a system, and a vehicle. The method obtains a relationship between a temperature difference within a battery pack and a temperature difference within the coolant, and deduces a target temperature difference within the coolant according to a target temperature difference within the battery pack and the relationship between the temperature difference within the battery pack and the temperature difference within the coolant. The method determines a required flow capacity of the coolant according to the target temperature difference within the coolant, and controls a battery cooling pump to operate according to the required flow capacity of the coolant. The problem of higher energy consumption existing in existing liquid-cooled battery packs for controlling the temperature difference within the battery pack is resolved by the disclosure.
