Pressure regulation system and method for a fluidic product having particles
A method of maintaining a backpressure of a fluidic product is provided. The method includes pressurizing a first reservoir to a first predetermined pressure level using compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized first reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the first reservoir reaches a first predetermined level, pressurizing a second reservoir to a second predetermined pressure level using the compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized second reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the second reservoir reaches a second predetermined level, and controlling the backpressure of the fluidic product using the first reservoir and the second reservoir such that a discharge flow of the fluidic product is continuous.
ADJUSTABLE DEADBAND CONTROL SYSTEM
A control system having a first pressure regulator, a downstream fluid control device, first pilot, and second pilot. The first pressure regulator has a fluid inlet, fluid outlet, and actuator assembly with a cavity divided into a first chamber and a second chamber. The downstream fluid control device has a second fluid inlet and a second fluid outlet. The first pilot has a first setpoint and the second pilot has a second setpoint, less than the first setpoint. The first and second pilots fluidly couple the second chamber to the second fluid outlet in a first mode of operation, isolate the second chamber from the second fluid outlet in a second mode of operation, and fluidly couple the second chamber to the fluid inlet in a third mode of operation.
Pressure regulator and method for fluid pressure regulation
A gas regulator includes a valve chamber body that houses two valves of the regulator. Valve elements that move to open and close the two valves are received via a same opening into the valve chamber body, which is closed by a plug. The plug can define a first valve seat as well as a piercing element used to pierce a compressed gas cylinder. A retainer can hold a gasket at a valve seat as well as provide a bore or other support for a valve element and valve element spring.
Floodwater redistribution assembly
A floodwater redistribution assembly for redirecting flood waters to a predetermined location for irrigation and municipal water service includes a subterranean vault that is positioned adjacent to a body of water known for periodic flooding. An inlet pipe is integrated into the subterranean vault to direct the water from the body of water into the subterranean vault. An outlet pipe is integrated into the subterranean vault to direct the water outwardly to a predetermined location for the purposes of irrigation and municipal water service. A ball valve is positioned within the subterranean vault to facilitate the water to flow into the outlet pipe. A ball valve control unit is coupled to the ball valve. The ball valve control unit is in remote communication with a remote control source and the ball valve control unit actuates the ball valve between an open position and a closed position.
Cartridge flow rate adjusting assembly with compensating chamber and hydraulic valve comprising the cartridge flow rate adjusting assembly
A cartridge flow rate adjusting assembly of a hydraulic valve may include a rod having a first end and a second end, a shutter integrally formed with the first end of the rod and to slidingly positioned against a passage opening of the valve for adjusting flow. The assembly may also include an elastic element to hold the rod with the shutter in a monostable position with the opening of the valve. A plunger element may be integrally formed with the rod and interposed between the shutter and second end. The assembly may further include a conduit formed in the rod. The opening of the valve may be in fluid communication with a portion of the chamber disposed between the plunger and second end so that a pressure in the portion of the chamber is equal to a pressure in the passage opening.
Vacuum valve, method of controlling vacuum valve, and estimation device
A controller includes an opening degree control section configured to control a valve element opening degree of the valve main body based on a pressure measurement value of the vacuum chamber measured by a vacuum meter, and an estimation section configured to estimate measurement lag information of pressure measurement value with respect to a pressure of the vacuum chamber based on (a) an exhaust expression including a second-order derivative term of the pressure measurement value and indicating a relationship between an effective exhaust speed of a vacuum pumping system for the vacuum chamber and the pressure measurement value and (b) a pressure measurement value measured during a pressure response when the valve element opening degree is step-changed, and the opening degree control section controls the valve element opening degree based on the measurement lag information estimated by the estimation section.
Systems and methods for flow sensor back pressure adjustment for mass flow controller
A mass flow control apparatus is capable of controlling a flow rate of a fluid to a tool. Pressure of the fluid is regulated by a solenoid valve, which receives signals from a control module. Various set points may be inputted to the control module, whereby control module receives pressure sensor signals from across a flow restrictor and adjusts the solenoid valve to control the fluid flow rate to equal a set point.
Systems and methods for flow sensor back pressure adjustment for mass flow controller
A mass flow control apparatus comprising a proportional valve upstream of a flow measurement portion, a pressure sensing element fluidly connected to determine a fluid pressure downstream of the flow measurement portion, and a dynamically adjustable variable valve downstream of the flow measurement portion and adjacent to the pressure sensing element connection. Fluid conductance of the variable valve is adjusted according to a control scheme based upon limitations of the flow measurement portion. Integral flow verification may be enabled with additional fluid pathway elements upstream of the flow measurement portion.

A control system having a pressure regulator, first pilot, and second pilot. The pressure regulator has a fluid inlet, fluid outlet, and actuator assembly with a cavity divided into a first chamber in fluid communication with the fluid outlet and a second chamber. The first pilot has a first setpoint and the second pilot has a second setpoint, less than the first setpoint. The first and second pilots fluidly couple the second chamber to the fluid outlet and isolate the second chamber from the fluid inlet in a first mode of operation, isolate the second chamber from the fluid outlet and fluid inlet in a second mode of operation, and fluidly couple the second chamber to the fluid inlet in a third mode of operation.
