MIXING VALVES, VALVE MODULES, AND VALVE MODULE ASSEMBLIES
The present disclosure is directed to a mixing valve pressure balancer and temperature controller module, a mixing valve flow diverter module, a modular assembly including the pressure balancer and temperature controller module and the flow diverter module, and a mixing valve including the modular assembly.
VARIABLE DRAIN FLOW RESTRICTOR
A proportioning valve for a reverse osmosis system that controls the production of product water by the differential pressure across the purification membrane. By sensing increasing tank pressure to actuate the proportioning valve, the flow of waste water is restricted. Placement of seals within the cavity of the valve, as well as placement of waste water inlet and outlet ports, protects tension components that provide reverse tank pressure from waste water exposure. A needle valve assembly responsive to an actuating assembly that senses tank pressure removes the need for an inlet tank water port while restricting water flow.
Mobile hydrogen dispenser for fuel cell vehicles
A mobile dispenser may be used to at least partially fill hydrogen tanks of fuel cell-powered vehicles. The dispenser uses a purely mechanical control of the fill using an orifice plate across which a pressure differential is maintained through use of a backpressure regulator whose reference pressure is controlled by a differential pressure regulator. Because it does need or use electrical power, it may be used in situations where no electrical power is available or convenient.
Exhaust Capture Devices And Methods
A system of controlling the capture of emissions from an exhaust emitter includes a housing including an inlet, a first outlet, and a second outlet; an adapter configured to attach to the exhaust emitter and the inlet of the housing; an attachment assembly coupled to the exhaust emitter, the attachment assembly including at least one leg pivotably coupled to the adapter; at least one valve coupled to the housing; and a control unit capable of communicating with the at least one valve to control the emission of exhaust through the device.
Valve control apparatus and vacuum valve
A valve control apparatus comprises: a generator configured to generate a first set pressure signal; and a valve opening controller configured to perform the first valve opening control on the basis of the target pressure and, after the first valve opening control, perform the second valve opening control performing feedback control on the basis of a difference between the first set pressure signal and the chamber pressure. The generator generates the first set pressure signal on the basis of a first set pressure locus converging from the chamber pressure at the time of switching from the first valve opening control to the second valve opening control to the target pressure with a predetermined time constant.
Paired air pressure energy storage device, inspection method and balance detection mechanism thereof
The invention discloses a paired air pressure energy storage device, an inspection method and a balance detection mechanism thereof. The paired air pressure energy storage device includes an inner body and an outer body sleeved outside the inner body. The inner body is filled with a first gas. A cavity formed between the outer body and the inner body is filled with a second gas. There is a gas energy pressure difference between the first gas and the second gas. The gas energy pressure difference is relative pressure gas energy. The invention can store two gases with different pressure intensities, has a simple structure, is convenient for transportation, and is favorable for effective energy storage and long-term storage of gases.
Leakage modulation in hydraulic systems containing a three-way spool valve
Hydraulic systems and associated methods configured to reduce leakage past a spool valve when the system is in a neutral state. Leakage reduction is achieved by shifting the spool valve within the spool bore. The amount of shifting can be controlled by a pressure controller that sets one or pressures in the system and actively/dynamically adjusts the system to achieve a desired pressure or set of pressures by shifting the spool valve.
Fuel Cell Arrangement for an H2/O2 Fuel Cell
The invention relates to a fuel cell arrangement (10) having an anode (26) connected to an H2 inflow (48) and a cathode (30) connected to an O2 inflow (50), wherein a differential pressure control device (52) is arranged between the H2 inflow (48) and the O2 inflow (50) for controlling a differential pressure between the H2 inflow (48) and the O2 inflow (50), the differential pressure control device (52) having a fluid connection (54) between the H2 inflow (48) and the O2 inflow (50) in which a deflectable diaphragm (56) is arranged, to which a pin (64) is coupled which, when the diaphragm (56) is deflected, opens a valve (58) arranged in the H2 inflow (48).
FLOW RATE CONTROL DEVICE
A flow rate control device (100) comprises: a pressure control valve (6) provided in a flow path; a flow rate control valve (8) provided downstream side of the pressure control valve; and a first pressure sensor (3) for measuring pressure on the downstream side of the pressure control valve and on the upstream side of the flow rate control valve. The flow rate control valve has a valve element (13) seated on/separated from a valve seat (12); a piezoelectric element (10b) for moving the valve element so as be seated on/separated from the valve seat; and a strain sensor (20) provided on a side surface of the piezoelectric element. The pressure control valve (6) is configured to control the pressure control valve (6) on the basis of a signal output from the first pressure sensor (3), and to control the driving of the piezoelectric element of the flow rate control valve (8) based on a signal output from the strain sensor (20).
