A preselection valve is for a hydraulic valve assembly with a switching element, a pressure input line, a first pressure output line and a first load pressure line with a load pressure inlet and output. The switching element is switchable from neutral to a first switching position. The pressure input line is connected to the first pressure output line in the first position. The preselection valve has a second and third load pressure line and a load pressure increasing device. The second load pressure line branches off the pressure input line upstream of the switching element. The load pressure increasing device is connected to the third load pressure line, which connects the pressure increasing device to the first load pressure line. The second load pressure line is connected to the pressure increasing device in the first switching position and the second load pressure line is blocked in the neutral position.

HYDRAULIC BRAKE BOOST

A brake system for actuating front and rear wheel brakes includes a reservoir and a master cylinder operable by actuation of a brake pedal connected to the master cylinder to generate brake actuating pressure at a first output for hydraulically actuating the front wheel brakes. A power transmission unit is configured for selectively providing pressurized hydraulic fluid for actuating the front wheel brakes. A pair of rear brake motors selectively electrically actuate respective rear wheel brakes. An electronic control unit controls at least one of the power transmission unit and the rear brake motors. A two-position three-way valve is hydraulically connected with the master cylinder and the power transmission unit and with the front wheel brakes. The three-way valve selectively controls hydraulic fluid flow from a chosen one of the master cylinder and the power transmission unit to at least one of the front wheel brakes.

Pressure exchanger manifold resonance reduction

Apparatus and methods for reducing pressure exchanger manifold resonance. Example apparatus include a first manifold and pumps fluidly connected with the first manifold. Each pump is operable to inject a pressurized clean fluid into the first manifold. The apparatus may further include a second manifold and pressure exchangers each fluidly connected with the first and second manifolds. Each pressure exchanger is operable to receive the pressurized clean fluid from the first manifold and discharge the pressurized dirty fluid into the second manifold. The apparatus may also include a first flow restricting orifice fluidly connected along the first manifold, a second flow restricting orifice fluidly connected along the second manifold, and a discharge conduit fluidly connected with the wellbore to permit the pressurized dirty fluid to be injected into the wellbore during a well treatment operation.

Ventilation flow rate regulator for a pressurised tank of a vehicle

A ventilation flow rate regulator for a pressurised tank of a vehicle. The regulator includes a body including a gas inlet and a gas outlet, and at least one restrictor mounted movably relative to the body. The restrictor is mounted to reduce a cross-section of at least one path of a gas flow proceeding from the inlet to the outlet, when a flow rate at the inlet is greater than a predetermined threshold. The regulator is arranged so that the cross-section remains non-zero irrespective of a flow rate.
