A vibration control device, while applying Gaussian vibration that matches a target vibration physical quantity PSD to a test piece, makes a corresponding vibration physical quantity non-Gaussian. Using a response vibration physical quantity PSD and a target vibration physical quantity PSD, a control vibration physical quantity PSD calculation generates a control vibration physical quantity PSD for generating a drive signal. A PSD conversion converts the control vibration physical quantity PSD into a control corresponding vibration physical quantity PSD of another dimension. Using the control corresponding vibration physical quantity PSD, a control corresponding vibration physical quantity waveform calculation calculates a control corresponding vibration physical quantity waveform that is non-Gaussian. At least based on the control characteristics and the control corresponding vibration physical quantity waveform, a drive waveform calculation generates a next drive waveform such that vibration that matches the control corresponding vibration physical quantity waveform is applied to a test piece.

METHOD, SYSTEM AND DEVICES FOR SELECTIVE MODAL CONTROL FOR VIBRATING STRUCTURES

A method, system and devices to selectively control modal vibrations in an elastic panel with a number of force actuators distributed throughout the surface of the elastic panel to excite/depress the response of one or more vibrational resonant modes included in a prescribed subset. The force actuators are disposed such that prescribed modal excitation/depression may be realized when the actuators are driven by a common source signal.

User-defined stimulation patterns for juvenile products

Systems and methods define a stimulation pattern for a juvenile product utilizing a mobile device that executes a mobile application that is linked to the juvenile product. The method comprises the step of recognizing, by the mobile device when executing the mobile app, the user-defined stimulation pattern for the juvenile product. The stimulation pattern can be a vibration pattern or a motion pattern, and can be detected in a number of different ways by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of determining control signals for the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the user-defined stimulation pattern that is recognized by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of, in response to receiving a command to execute the user-defined stimulation pattern, controlling the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the stored control signals for the user-defined stimulation pattern.
