The connecting device includes a first connecting part, which includes a first base body and at least one engagement protrusion arranged rigidly on the first base body, and a second connecting part, which can be attached to the first connecting part in a closing direction, is connected to a strap and includes a second base body with an engagement section arranged rigidly on the second base body. The first connecting part includes a first magnetic device and the second connecting part includes a second magnetic device. The first magnetic device and the second magnetic device cooperate in a magnetically attracting manner along the closing direction to support the placing of the first connecting part and the second connecting part against one another.

Provided is a connecting device includes a first connecting part which includes a first base body and at least one engagement protrusion arranged rigidly on the first base body, and a second connecting part, which can be attached to the first connecting part in a closing direction and includes a second base body with an engagement section arranged rigidly on the second base body. The first connecting part includes a first magnetic device and the second connecting part includes a second magnetic device. The first magnetic device and the second magnetic device interact in a magnetically attracting manner along the closing direction to support the attachment of the first connecting part and the second connecting part to one another. A thin garment closure includes a male member with a bar having a ball each end and a female member having a trough shaped to receive the bar. The bar is positionable in the trough when the male and female members are in a substantially transverse orientation, and when one member is rotated so that both members are substantially coplanar the closure is closed. The male member has side arms angled inward and connecting the male exterior side and the bar. The length of the bar is shorter than the length of the male exterior side. The trough of the female member has a concave region to receive each ball of the bar. In an embodiment, the concave region is enlarged toward the center of the closure to accommodate movement of the bar under tension. These features improve the tensile strength of the closure.

A closure device for connecting to parts with each other is provided. The closure device includes a first closure part which includes a first base body and a first form-fit portion stationarily arranged on the first base body, and a second closure part which includes a second base body and a second form-fit portion stationarily arranged on the second base body. Provided is a buckle including a plug member and a socket member. The plug member includes a plate extending forward from a lower end of a base and having a first magnet embedded in a middle portion thereof, and a holder protruding from a front end of the plate. The socket member includes an upper plate extending forward from an upper end of a base and having a second magnet embedded in a middle portion thereof, side plates formed on opposite sides of the upper plate, and a accommodation region formed inside the upper plate and the side plates so as to accommodate the plate therein. The upper plate has a holder aperture formed therein so that the holder is seated in the holder aperture when the plug member and the socket member are coupled to each other.

A closure device for releasably connecting two parts with each other includes a first closure member having a rigid first locking protrusion and a second closure member which is attachable to the first closure member and in a closed position is held on the first closure member. The second closure member has a rigid second locking protrusion. The second locking protrusion can be brought into engagement with the first locking protrusion in an engagement direction and in the closed position engages the first locking protrusion in a positive locking manner. The first closure member includes a first magnetic member and the second closure member includes a second magnetic member, the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member being constituted to magnetically attract each other when the second closure member is attached to the first closure member for closing the closure device.
