A magnetic sensor device includes a three-dimensional (3D) magnetic sensor and a magnet that produces a magnetic field. The 3D magnetic sensor is arranged within the magnetic field and is configured to measure three different magnetic field components of the magnetic field and generate sensor signals in response to the measured three different magnetic field components. The magnet is arranged in a default spatial position in an absence of any applied spatial force, where the magnet is configured to rotate about a rotation axis based on an applied rotational force. The magnetic field varies inhomogeneously with regards to at least one of the three magnetic field components upon rotation of the magnet about the rotation axis.

Operation knob device

An operation knob device includes an annular holder having an annular holding portion, an annular rotor arranged in the holding portion so as to allow rotation around an axis, an annular knob for which relative movement in a direction along the axis with respect to the rotor is allowed and relative movement in a circumferential direction around the axis is restricted, a first transmission member arranged on a side of a first end of the rotor so as to move with the knob, and a second transmission member attached to the first end so as to rotate integrally with the rotor. The knob has cylindrical inner and outer wall portions, and an opening through which part of a display panel can be visually recognized is defined by the inner wall portion. The first and second transmission members are arranged between the inner wall portion and the outer wall portion.

OPERATION DEVICE

When an operation knob 10 formed of silicone rubber is pushed laterally, a stem 7 tilts with a contact portion (i) as a fulcrum, a push button portion 6b is pushed, and a contact point in a switch mechanism portion 6a operates to turn on a switch circuit. Even if, by a large operating force F3 being applied, the operation knob 10 is extended and the inner surface portion 15, which is a ceiling surface of an internal space 13 of the operation knob 10, rides on an upper end portion 7c, a reinforcing surface 19 provided on the inner surface portion 15 slides on the upper end portion 7c, and the operation knob 10 returns to the initial shape.
