Reversible locking garment closure

A reversible locking garment closure includes male and female members each attached to an end of a garment. The male member has a pin at an acute angle and the female member receives the pin in a corresponding angled channel. The acute angle provides resistance to decoupling the male and female members, and allows the closure to function under high tensile stress. The male and female members are coupled via motion in a plane parallel to the front and rear faces of the closure, allowing the closure to be operable when worn in a reverse orientation. In an embodiment, the closure includes a locking mechanism which resiliently resists decoupling of the male and female members.

A web-connecting assembly may include a connecting member and a securing member. The connecting member may include a connecting stud and a first web channel. The first web channel is configured to retain a first web. The securing member may include a housing defining a retaining chamber, a button pivotally secured to the housing, and a second web channel. The second web channel is configured to retain a second web. The button is configured to be moved between an open position in which a portion of the connecting stud is able to move into and out of the retaining chamber, and a closed position in which the button securely traps the portion of the connecting stud within the retaining chamber. The connecting member is securely connected to the securing member when the button securely traps the portion of the connecting stud within the retaining chamber.

The present disclosure comprises a buckle for connecting a functional element to a webbing loop, having a base element which comprises a bottom region and two web elements and can be inserted under the webbing loop in such a way that the bottom region is arranged below the webbing loop and the web elements engage around the webbing loop on both sides, and having a connecting element which can be latched to the web elements of the base element arranged on the webbing loop.

Garment assembly and release apparatus and method

A vest utilizing an assembly and release apparatus and method incorporating a C-shaped clip defining a channel and a smaller slot extending along the channel, attachable to a first location on the vest. A pin of the apparatus is slidably receivable in the channel through the open end to assemble the C-shaped clip and the pin together. The pin has a tab or strip that extends through the slot, for attaching the pin to a second location on the vest. The apparatus includes at least one detent element associated with one of the C-shaped clip and the pin, cooperatively engageable with the other of the C-shaped clip and the pin for retaining the pin in the channel, and releasable in a predetermined manner to allow slidably removing the pin from the channel to provide a quiet and rapid manner of operation.

Portable object comprising a case, a removable bracelet and a system for attaching the bracelet to the case

A portable object includes a case having a middle, a bracelet, and an attachment system for removably securing each end of the bracelet to the middle. The middle includes two longitudinal cavities to form a slide bar. Each end of the bracelet includes a fastening head that cooperates, by sliding, with one of the longitudinal cavities to form the attachment system. The fastening head includes an end flange made of a viscoelastic material. The attachment system includes a viscoelastic fitting for locking axial movement of the fastening head inside the longitudinal cavity by the viscoelastic response of the end flange. The viscoelastic fitting is formed by cooperation of a rigid locking protrusion in each longitudinal cavity to deform the end flange upon insertion of the bracelet. The locking protrusion fits inside a recess made in the end flange to lock the axial movement of the fastening head.
