OPERATION DEVICE
An operation device according to the present invention includes: a rotation operation unit that is rotatable about a rotation axis and is installed so that an operation site formed on a rotation surface is exposed outside through an opening formed in an operation panel; and a support unit that covers at least part of a separated site of the rotation operation unit located away from the operation site along a rotation axis direction and has a sliding site coming into contact with part of the separated site and slidably supporting rotation of the rotation operation unit. Then, the support unit is configured to form a space part retaining grease applied to the rotation operation unit between the support unit and the separated site located on a side opposite to the operation site of the rotation operation unit with reference to the sliding site.

Haptic operator control device for a vehicle, and method
A haptic operator control device for a motor vehicle has a magnetorheological brake with a brake component that is fixed to a holder and a brake component that is continuously rotatable relative to the fixed brake component. A first of the brake components extends in an axial direction and has a magnetically conductive core which extends in the axial direction, and a second brake component has a hollow shell part that encircles the first brake component. An encircling gap between the brake components is filled with a magnetorheological medium. An electrical coil is accommodated in the brake housing. At least one star contour with magnetic field concentrators formed thereon is arranged between the shell part and the core. The magnetic field concentrators project radially into the gap to define a varying gap height in a region of the star contour.
Joystick assembly
A joystick assembly for use with a device including a joystick surface and a first magnet having north and south magnetic poles includes a second magnet having north and south magnetic poles and a movable elongated shaft having first and second opposing ends arranged along a major axis of the shaft. The first end of the shaft is coupled to the second magnet such that movement of the shaft results in movement of the second magnet relative to the first magnet such that a line between centers of the north and south magnetic poles of the second magnet is movable relative to a line between the north and south magnetic poles of the first magnet. An attraction of the second magnet to the first magnet results in a restoring force upon the shaft, and the shaft and the second magnet are removable from the joystick surface.
Joystick assembly
A joystick assembly for use with a device including a joystick surface and a first magnet having north and south magnetic poles includes a second magnet having north and south magnetic poles and a movable elongated shaft having first and second opposing ends arranged along a major axis of the shaft. The first end of the shaft is coupled to the second magnet such that movement of the shaft results in movement of the second magnet relative to the first magnet such that a line between centers of the north and south magnetic poles of the second magnet is movable relative to a line between the north and south magnetic poles of the first magnet. A knob assembly includes a front panel, a knob located at a front side of the front panel and configured to rotate based on operation by a user, a knob shaft that is coupled to the knob and that extends through the front panel, a supporting pipe that receives the knob shaft and that supports the knob shaft, the supporting pipe being configured to maintain a position relative to the front panel, a valve configured to control supply of gas to the appliance, a valve shaft connected to the valve and configured to control the valve to adjust a flow rate of gas based on rotation of the valve shaft, and a joint that couples the knob shaft to the valve shaft and that is configured to transfer at least one of a rotational motion or a linear motion of the knob shaft to the valve shaft.

A knob assembly includes a front panel, a knob located at a front side of the front panel and configured to rotate based on operation by a user, a knob shaft that is coupled to the knob and that extends through the front panel, a supporting pipe that receives the knob shaft and that supports the knob shaft, the supporting pipe being configured to maintain a position relative to the front panel, a valve configured to control supply of gas to the appliance, a valve shaft connected to the valve and configured to control the valve to adjust a flow rate of gas based on rotation of the valve shaft, and a joint that couples the knob shaft to the valve shaft and that is configured to transfer at least one of a rotational motion or a linear motion of the knob shaft to the valve shaft.
GAS SUPPLY TAP WITH POSITION SENSOR
A gas supply tap having a control knob (2) connected to an operating stem adapted to operate a valve or a shutter for opening and closing the tap is disclosed. The gas supply tap includes a detecting device to detect the position of the knob, at least one component of the detecting device being translationally and rotationally integral with the operating stem.
Operator control device
An operator control device has an actuation unit on a console unit. The actuation unit movable between an idle position and one or more actuation positions. The actuation unit is fixable in the idle position by a retaining device. In order to leave the idle position, it is necessary to overcome a retaining force provided by the retaining device. The retaining device has a coupling device with a coupling element that is magnetically couplable to the actuation unit and to the console unit in order to magnetically fix the actuation unit in at least the idle position.
