Electronic vehicle pedal activation system
An electronic vehicle pedal activation system for eliminating the need to have more than one person when working on vehicle where using a pedal of the vehicle is required. The electronic vehicle pedal activation system includes a support assembly including a shaft having a length and adapted to be removable and in contactable relationship with a floor board; a pedal activation assembly in communication with the support assembly for moving a pedal of a vehicle; and a control assembly in operable communication with the pedal activation assembly.
BUTTON
A button includes an electronic circuit. The electronic circuit includes a potentiometer having a first center tap connected to an output terminal. A second center tap is connected to a first terminal of the potentiometer via a first resistor, to a first supply terminal via a second resistor, and to a second supply terminal via a third resistor. The resistance of the second resistor is equal to (1k.sub.x)R.sub.x. The resistance of the third resistor is equal to k.sub.xR.sub.x. A third center tap is connected to a second terminal of the potentiometer via a fourth resistor, to the first supply terminal via a fifth resistor, and to the second supply terminal via a sixth resistor. The resistance of the fifth resistor is equal to (1k.sub.y)R.sub.y. The value of the sixth resistor is equal to k.sub.yR.sub.y.

Button pressing device with moving plate and sticky ball
A resilient ball is placed on a button to be pressed. The ball rises above the rest of the surface of a device with a button, so that a plate which pushes down on the device presses first against the ball, and presses the button there-beneath. A user can place the ball on a button of his/her choice and insert it in a housing, so that, when the plate is pushed downward, it will, in turn, cause the chosen button to be pressed. The plate is held with a dowel on one end, extending past the plate thereof at another end and into portals which are part of, or fixed to, the housing. The compressible ball is thus positioned between the plate and the button to be pressed, the device abutting the housing and/or a fixed plate on its other side.
Rotatable handle attachment to an object having a longitudinal extent
A handle assembly attachable to an object includes an auxiliary handle and a hook with a pivot arm pivotably attached thereto to define a passageway for the object. The pivot arm is pivotable between a first position, allowing access to the passageway, and a plurality of second positions, adjusting the size of the passageway to secure the object therein. A pawl, attached to the pivot arm, is movable between a first position, engageable with a ratchet of the hook, and a second position, disengaged therefrom. A shank extends the hook, and a clutch operatively couples the shank to the auxiliary handle. The clutch is actuatable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The shank is moveable relative to the auxiliary handle in translation when the clutch is in the engaged position and the shank is rotatable relative to the auxiliary handle when the clutch is in the disengaged position.
ACTUATOR DEVICE
An actuator device (2) for actuating at least one foot pedal (P) of a motor vehicle has at least one actuating element (8), whereby, for applying force to the foot pedal (P), said actuating element is shifted by means of a positioning mechanism (10) between an application position and a released position. It is provided that the positioning mechanism (10) is drivable with a positioning force (SF), by means of inertial means (such as an inertial mass).

System and apparatus for enhancing the ergonomics of a surgical foot pedal
The present invention comprises a heel insert for use with a phacoemulsification foot pedal that may shift a surgeon's foot forward on the treadle of a foot pedal to reduce the force required to actuate the foot pedal. The present invention may be easily attachable and removable and may provide a less complicated and alternative foot position for surgeons preferring different treadle mechanics.
