FABRIC HAVING RESTRAINING FUNCTION
20210204660 · 2021-07-08 ·

A fabric having a restraining function is fabricated through at least one yarn having thermoplastic fibers, at least one surface of the fabric has hairiness formed with a plurality of thermoplastic hairs, wherein a first restraining hair having a distal end formed with a spherical member and/or a columnar member is formed through at least a part of the thermoplastic hairs, second restraining hair having a distal end formed with an irregular deformed member is formed through at least a part of the first restraining hairs, so that the at least one surface of the fabric is able to provide a restraining function in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction to a plurality of fibriform loops.

FASTENING SYSTEM WITH RAIL SEGMENTS AND BENDING POSTS

The fastening system includes first and second fastening members, each having a backing and rows of rail segments protruding from the backing. The rails segments have a base portion attached to the backing and a cap portion distal from the backing. The cap portion has a cap width that is greater than a width of the base portion. There are rows of posts protruding from the backing of at least the first fastening member. When the first and second fastening members undergo fastening, the posts bend away from the rail segments while the cap portions of the rail segments of the first and second fastening members pass by each other and then return to their original positions after the first and second fastening members are fastened. The fastening system attached to a portion of a package is also disclosed.

MOLDED SURFACE FASTENER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MOLDED SURFACE FASTENER

Provided is a molded surface fastener capable of stably having high engaging strength with respect to a loop member. The molded surface fastener of the present invention includes a base portion and a plurality of engaging elements provided with a stem portion and an engaging portion, and is formed of synthetic resin containing lubricant at 0.15 wt % or more and 1.00 wt % or less. A top end surface of the engaging element is formed to be flat, and the engaging portion has a hanging portion which hangs down obliquely downward toward the base portion.

MAKING SOFT FABRIC TOUCH FASTENERS

Methods of making a male touch fastener product, by shearing distal portions of loops extending from a side of a flexible fabric, leaving fibers extending from the side of the flexible fabric in place of the sheared loops, the fibers extending to respective free distal ends, while leaving other loops extending from the side of the fabric intact, and then heating the distal ends with energy supplied by a linear energy source, such that resin of the distal ends flows to form enlarged heads on the extending fibers, while leaving at least some of the other loops intact. A male touch fastener product has a flexible fabric base with a broad side, and fibers extending from the broad side of the base. The fibers form both loops of fibers, each loop extending from the base at two spaced-apart points, and fiber segments extending from the base to respective distal fiber ends spaced from the base. Each distal fiber end forms an enlarged head of fiber resin for snagging other fibers.

Reclosable fastener with inactive regions

At least one aspect of the present disclosure features a reclosable fastener for use on a non-woven article having a first part and a second part. The reclosable fastener includes a first fastener component, a second fastener component, and an adhesive layer attaching the second fastener component to the second part of the non-woven article. The first fastener component has first fastening elements. The first fastener component is attached to or integrated with the first part of the non-woven article. The second fastener component includes second fastening elements configured to engage with first fastening elements. The second fastener component includes one or more inactive regions. The second fastening elements within an inactive region are substantially deactivated.
