The container with calorie information display is an electronic display device that is adapted for use with food containers. The container with calorie information display is used to display nutritional information about the food that is stored in the container. The container with calorie information scans the nutritional label of the items being stored in the container and electronically displays the information on a display that is adapted to fit on the container. Alternative embodiments of the disclosure include a memory function to permanently store nutritional information for repeatedly stored items and an optical character recognition function and scale function that allows for the display of the total nutritional contents of the container.

The method includes: capturing, by the first camera, a first eye image of a first eye of a wearer of the HMD; capturing, by the second camera, a second eye image of the first eye of the wearer; constructing a first eye model of the first eye based on the first eye image and the second eye image; capturing, by the first camera, a first specific eye image of the first eye of the wearer; obtaining a plurality of first specific eye landmarks in the first specific eye image; identifying a first eye pose of the first eye of the wearer based on the first eye model and the first specific eye landmarks.

A method of detecting the presence or absence of a particular medical condition for a patient. The method comprises acquiring at least one image of an area of interest of the patient's body and identifying a first region of interest within the at least one acquired image corresponding to a first anatomical structure of interest and a second region of interest within the at least one acquired image corresponding to a second anatomical structure of interest. The method further comprises evaluating the first and second regions of interest, detecting the presence or absence of the medical condition based on the evaluation of the first and second regions of interest, and generating an electrical signal indicative of the detected presence or absence of the medical condition.

A head mounted display (HMD) includes an electronic display configured to display a virtual scene to a user, an optics block, an eye tracking system, and a varifocal actuation that mechanically changes a distance between the optics block and the electronic display. The varifocal actuation block is configured to change a location of an image plane of the HMD and includes a motor, a power screw coupled to the actuating motor configured to turn responsive to actuation of the motor, and a nut sled on the power screw that is coupled to the electronic display. The nut sled is configured to move back and forth along a length of the power screw responsive to the power screw being turned by the motor that results in movement of the electronic display relative to the optics block.

This disclosure relates generally to a robotic gripper to hold a writing and object creation device for writing and object creation. The robotic gripper includes clamping unit, spring loaded slider unit and outer housing unit. The clamping unit include a finger collet with three or more flexible finger positions equispaced within 360 degrees with two areas of contact on each finger in front part for firm gripping. The spring loaded slider unit include a middle housing to transfer a force from the writing and object creation device to a force sensitive resistor (FSR). A micro actuator induces a required force to the writing and object creation device based on feedback from the force sensitive resistor. The middle housing includes a plunger shaft connected with a preload spring. The outer housing unit configured to hold a micro actuator, cotter pins, locator pins to the micro actuator, and a push pull key.

According to one aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for providing a voice recognition trigger, comprising the steps of: estimating a first distance, which is a distance between a device and a user, on the basis of proximity information detected by the device, and estimating a second distance, which is a distance between the device and a location where a voice detected by the device is uttered, with reference to information on the voice detected by the device; and determining whether the voice detected by the device is an object of voice recognition, with reference to similarity between the first distance and the second distance.
