An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for automatic operational maintenance. The method is executed on a cloud, and includes: in response to determining that an operational maintenance task in a preset task list satisfies an execution condition, issuing an operational maintenance instruction corresponding to the operational maintenance task to a remote device; receiving an execution result in response to the operational maintenance instruction returned by the remote device.

MANAGING EXTRACT, TRANSFORM AND LOAD SYSTEMS

An approach to implement an extract, transform and load system, a queue is provided for holding units of data between extraction and transformation. When units of data suffer a rate limit error in the load phase, they are requeued so they can be resubmitted for transformation. The contents of the queue are monitored and, if too many requeued units of data are detected in the queue, then this is taken as an indicator of an unacceptable number of rate limit errors and active pacing management is triggered. A retry schedule is defined for the requeued units of data. Extraction is temporarily halted to allow the requeued units of data to be retransformed without more units of data queuing up. Then, after the suspension is lifted, a pacing delay is inserted between subsequent extract events to avoid the same load phase bottleneck recurring.

An apparatus includes a processor interface circuit to a motherboard processor, an out of band (OOB) interface circuit to connect the apparatus to a media tray, and circuitry configured to determine a preliminary indication that a candidate storage device of the media tray will fail, cause isolation of the candidate storage device from the motherboard processor based upon the determination of the preliminary indication, and run a secondary diagnostic test on the candidate storage device through the OOB interface after isolating the candidate storage device.

Runtime Error Prediction System

During a software development lifecycle of a software application, application code is modified and multiple versions are built and packaged to be installed on different computing systems, such as on a software development computing system, a software testing computing systems, and/or production or end-user computing systems. A runtime error optimization engine analyzes, using a first artificial intelligence model, a build package to predict whether it may encounter runtime errors causing an installation to fail. When an error is identified, a runtime error orchestration engine may utilize a second artificial intelligence model to identify a solution, where the runtime error orchestration engine rebuilds the build package based on an identified solution and initiates installation via a deployment pipeline.

A semiconductor memory apparatus may include: a memory cell array; an ECC (Error Check and Correction) circuit configured to detect an error from data read from the memory cell array in response to a read command, correct the detected error, and output an error correction signal whenever an error is corrected; and an EF (Error Flag) generator configured to enter a flag output mode when the number of times that the error correction signal is generated during a monitoring period reaches a threshold, and output the error correction signal as an error flag in the flag output mode.

Memory system for handling program error and method thereof

A scheme for handling program errors is provided for a memory system which includes a memory device and a controller including firmware and a memory interface. The firmware issues commands for program operations to the memory interface. After detecting a failed program operation in a particular memory block, the firmware reroutes that program operation to a different location in a different memory block and takes further action to reduce the likelihood of a subsequent error occurring in the same memory block in which the failed program operation occurred.

REDUNDANT CONTROL IN A DISTRIBUTED AUTOMATION SYSTEM

A method for redundant control in a distributed automation system, preferably a real-time automation system, for operating a client device of the distributed automation system is discussed. The method includes using the client device to monitor for the occurrence of a fault in communication between the client device and a first computing infrastructure that is part of the distributed automation system and operates the client device. The method may also include using the client device, once the fault occurs, to instruct a second computing infrastructure of the distributed automation system to operate the client device.
