An information processing system comprising a processor programmed to: receive a question asked by a questioner, an answer provided by an answerer to the question, and a rating by a rater with respect to at least one of the question and the answer; manage relationship information, the relationship information being related to the questioner, the answerer, and the rating by the rater; acquire attribute information about each of the questioner, the answerer, and the rater; and present rating information based on the relationship information and in response to a condition specified by a requester with respect to the attribute information.

A networked computing system comprises a backup node cluster of a backup service in communication with a host database node cluster of a host, a host database at least initially undiscovered by the backup node cluster, one or more processors coupled with memory storing instructions that, when executed, perform operations comprising at least installing a backup agent on at least one node of the host database node cluster, registering the host at the backup service, based on the host registration, triggering a host database discovery process to discover the undiscovered database automatically, the discovery process including a discovery call, in response to the discovery call, receiving metadata relating to the discovered database, and communicating with the discovered database.

Database storing authenticated skill-based attributes

An example operation may include one or more of receiving a request to store a skill-based attribute of a user at a database, temporarily storing the skill-based attribute and an identification of one or more storage nodes associated with the skill-based attribute in a temporary data structure of the database, determining whether a predetermined amount of the one or more storage nodes have authenticated the user as having the skill-based attribute, and, in response successful authentication of the skill-based attribute by the predetermined amount of storage nodes, transferring the authenticated skill-based attribute from the temporary data structure to a primary data structure of the database.

The user interface may receive shareable user commentary regarding the tabular data. The stored tabular data may be editable by users of the database system. The social network feed may be updated to comprise notifications of edits to the tabular data.

A database node selects one of a number of database mirror hosts to perform a database read query. In theory, mirror hosts store redundant database entries. In practice, some mirror hosts fail to receive or retain some entries, e.g. if a mirror host was down for maintenance, a mirror host was overburdened, etc. The health of a mirror host, quantified as a health score, represents a likelihood that an insert statement was received and retained. Health scores are generated based on health metrics—data periodically retrieved from mirror hosts used to infer how well the database was operating, e.g. a count of entries that were inserted, a count of errors encountered while the entries were inserted, etc. If the database read query specifies entries inserted during a specific time period, the mirror host may be selected based on the health scores representing that time period.
