Natural language processing for entity resolution
An apparatus includes a data access circuit that interprets data records, each having a number of data fields, a record parsing circuit that determines a number of n-grams from terms of each of the data records and maps the number of n-grams to a corresponding number of mathematical vectors, and a record association circuit that determines whether a similarity value between a first mathematical vector for the first data record and a second mathematical vector for the second data record is greater than a threshold similarity value, and associates the first and second data records in response to the similarity value exceeding the threshold similarity value. An example apparatus includes a reporting circuit that provides a catalog entity identifier, associates each of the first term and the second term to the catalog entity identifier, and provides a summary of activity for an entity.
Image display apparatus and operation method of the same
Method and apparatus for obtaining audio corresponding to a plurality of images, based on semantic information and the emotion information of the plurality of images.
Similarity calculation apparatus, recording medium, and similarity calculation method
A similarity calculation apparatus according to the present invention includes: a name acquisition unit configured to acquire a first group name to which each word belonging to a first synonym group belongs and a second group name to which each word belonging to a second synonym group belongs; a name set generation unit configured to generate a first group name set and a second group name set; and a similarity calculation unit configured to calculate similarity between the first group name set and the second group name set. Therefore, even when a plurality of synonym groups are created, terms can be effectively unified.
Distributed stream-based database triggers
Information describing changes to a collection of items maintained by a database may be stored in a log file. The information in the log file may be converted into a stream of records describing the changes. The records may be directed to a computing node selected for performing a trigger function in response to the change, based on applying a hash function to a portion of the record, identifying a hash space associated with a value output by the hash function, and mapping from the hash space to the selected computing node.
Archive center for content management
Content is captured and archived at an archive center (AC) and, depending upon records management (RM) policy, is managed by the AC or under RM control by a content server (CS). Both the AC and CS may be part of an enterprise content management system. The AC provides a user-friendly interface through which retention zones may be defined, and functionality for applying RM policy. The functionality can be triggered via a specific content property or through a retention zone under RM control. The RM control can be turned on or off from within the AC using the user-friendly interface. Archived content is not moved or duplicated. Rather, metadata and a link to the storage location are sent to the CS which, in turn, creates a content server document that is linked to the archived content. Only a portion of archived content is exposed to the CS through the AC.
Index lifecycle management
Methods and systems for index lifecycle management are provided. Exemplary methods include: receiving an ILM policy; determining a first condition and a first action for a first phase using the ILM policy; performing the first action for the first phase when the first condition is met; transition from the first phase to a second phase; determining a second condition and a second action for the second phase using the ILM policy; performing the second action for the second phase when the second condition is met; transition from the second phase to a third phase; determining a third condition and a third action for the third phase using the ILM policy; performing the third action for the third phase when the third condition is met; transition from the third phase to a fourth phase; and deleting the index during the third phase.
System and method for cloud-based read-only folder synchronization
A system and method are provided for synchronizing read-only folders from a cloud-based server. Users can set permissions when sharing folders with other users. The permissions are enforced by client devices of the users downloading content of the folders from the server. A folder at a user's client from the shared domain may include locally modified content and shared content. Based on first permission assigned to a user for the folder, when an indication of a change by a second user to the folder at the server is received, the user's client propagates the change to shared content below the folder in a folder hierarchy at the user's client. To prevent local changes made by the user from being overwritten, the user's client identifies the folder containing locally-modified content as a local content folder not to be synchronized between the plurality of clients.
Systems and methods for smart home data storage
System and methods for storing data include detecting presence of one or more computing devices within a defined geographic area, automatically copying media stored on the one or more computing devices, storing the copied media on a backup storage device, and grouping the stored copied media by at least one of time period, location, event and a source of the copied media.
System and method for performing object-modifying commands in an unstructured storage service
Embodiments of system and method for performing object-modifying commands in an unstructured storage service are described. Embodiments may include utilizing one or more nodes to implement an unstructured storage service including a service interface configured to service data storage requests and data retrieval requests from remote clients. The unstructured storage service is configured to isolate access to each of multiple storage domains of the service to different clients. Embodiments may also include receiving from a given remote client, a request to store a data object to a given storage domain of the service. The request further specifying a command to modify source data for the object prior to storing the object. Embodiments may also include using the unstructured storage service to perform the command without exporting the source data from the unstructured storage service to the given remote client prior to completion of the command.
