Facilitation of augmented reality-based space assessment
A view can be presented with an augmented reality (AR) view of the space. The AR view can be augmented with imagery to indicate to the viewer environmental conditions that may not otherwise be known to the viewer. The viewer can also initiate alterations to the environment based on the information and recommendations presented in the AR view. Current conditions, past trends, and forecasted future trends can be included in the creation of the AR displays.
Augmented reality human machine interface testing
An industrial virtual reality (VR) system includes visualization processing capabilities that allow an augmented reality (AR) human-machine interface (HMI) application to be tested within a virtual representation of the plant environment. This approach can yield an interactable AR HMI that simulates, within the VR environment, what a wearer of an AR appliance will see while traversing the physical plant. In this way, proper operation of the AR HMI can be verified prior to commissioning of the physical system. This can include ensuring that graphics are tied to the correct data points, confirming correct and non-obtrusive locations of graphics within the user's field of view.
Servicing system with snapshot function
A system, method, and computer-readable medium for servicing a system, comprising: displaying animated content relative to the system; determining a snapshot function has been initiated; sending a request to a user of an augmented reality device with a camera to move the augmented reality device relative to the system; capturing information about components in the system and a configuration of the system; generating a three dimensional (3D) model of the system based on the captured information; and displaying a composite view of the model or an overlay based on the model and animated content related to a component.
Managing a smart city
A smart city management system may enable creating a digital twin of the smart city based on mapping lidar data for the smart city and radio frequency data for the smart city; determining placement of a set of network devices in the smart city based on the created digital twin; and providing a visualization of the determined placement of the set of network devices.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONTINUOUS RISK MONITORING AND DYNAMIC UNDERWRITING PRICING
A system that includes a calculation unit configured to receive an input derived from data measured from a sensor located in a first location, the calculation unit is configured to determine a value for a risk premium. The system includes a storage unit to store the input; and an output unit configured to receive information based on the value determined by the calculation unit and outputs a graphical representation to a display device. The system is at a second location different from the first location.
AR enhanced structural transformation estimator and modeling engine
Individual nodes of a plurality of nodes can be fixed to the architectural structure and associated with a different segment of a plurality of segments of a first model of an architectural structure. Positional data associated with the nodes can be received. A structural change to the architectural structure can be estimated based on a comparison of positional data associated with the nodes. A second model representing the architectural structure as modified by the structural change can be generated. The second model can be generated based on (i) the first model and (ii) the estimated change to the architectural structure.
High Speed Emulation in a Vehicle-in-the-Loop Driving Simulator
High-speed emulation in a vehicle-in-the-loop driving simulator is provided.
Virtual reality system for usage with simulation devices
A simulation device including a switch that is articulated with a trigger mechanism and a tracker interface coupled to the simulation device, the tracker interface including an electrical connection interface with a virtual reality tracker that communicates with a virtual reality computing device, wherein the electrical connection interface transmits electrical signals to the virtual reality tracker based on articulations of the switch.
EXTENDED REALITY HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE TO SIMULATE ACTUAL FLOW
A method for applying extended reality to simulate an actual flow system, including receiving selection of simulated components of the actual flow system that are graphical elements, receiving component metadata for each simulated component that represents simulated component factors that affect the simulated flow from, through, or to the simulated component, receiving simulation connection metadata for each simulated connection between the simulated components that represents simulated connection factors that affect the simulated flow through the simulated connection, receiving actual data over time, simulating the flow over time through the simulated connections based on the actual data by applying a model using a set of operations to the actual data, the simulation component metadata, and the simulation connection metadata. The method further includes displaying via the extended reality user interface the three or more simulated components as connected by the simulated connections and the simulated flow.
Augmented reality wireless planning and troubleshooting
The present technology includes calculating the 3-D RF propagation pattern in a space for at least one Wi-Fi access point and displaying a visualization of the RF propagation pattern in augmented reality (AR). The augmented reality view of the space can be created by capturing at least one image of the space and displaying at least one image of the space on a display with the visualization of the Wi-Fi access point RF propagation pattern on the display overlaid at least one image of the space. The disclosed technology further can calculate the RF propagation properties and render a visualization of the RF propagation patterns in a 3D space by utilizing hardware on a user device. The AR display is useful in visualizing, in-person aspects of a Wi-Fi network and coverage, and can be used in troubleshooting, maintenance, and simulations of equipment variations.
