Creating three-dimensional apparel imagery in an apparel design system
A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The user's preview may be based upon a two-dimensional image of a wear pattern in a laser input file and, from a set of two-dimensional images of a base garment, create a three-dimensional view of the base garment with the wear pattern.
Methods and systems for stitching along a predetermined path
Disclosed is a guiding apparatus for use with a machine to facilitate performing an action along a self-guided path on a substrate. The guiding apparatus may include a support member configured to be attached to at least a portion of the machine. Further, the guiding apparatus may include one or more of lighting units, optical sensors, controllers, and user interface components, mounted on the support member, configured to identify an object, obtain position of the object on a substrate and perform an action along a self-guided path in association with that object on the substrate.
Computer aided design (CAD)-based foam part generation for seat designs
A system may include an access engine and a foam part generation engine. The access engine may be configured to access a computer-aided design (CAD) seat surface that represents a seat surface of a seat design and access seat parameters for the seat design. The foam part generation engine may be configured to construct a CAD foam part for the seat design based on the CAD seat surface and the seat parameters.
Three-Dimensional Preview of Design of Laser-Finished Garments
A tool allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs in three dimensions before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the user will be able to create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before burning by a laser. Input to the tool includes fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. The tool allows adding of tinting and adjusting of intensity and bright point. The user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.
Grading method for knitted products and a grading system therefor
Pattern data for at least two sizes are converted to knit data, regarding knitted products to be graded. Regarding the knit data for at least two sizes, characteristic points specifying shapes of the knitted products and intermediate shapes specifying shapes of the knitted products between the characteristic points are generated. By interpolating or extrapolating the characteristic points and the intermediate shapes, according to a desired size of the knitted products, characteristic points and intermediate shapes for the desired size are generated. Closed loops are generated by connecting the characteristic points and the intermediate shapes, and knit data for the desired size is generated by allocating knitted stitches within patterns specified by the closed loops. Without pattern data for intermediate sizes, knit data for the intermediate sizes are generated from the two size knit data.
Product design, configuration and decision system using machine learning
A product configuration design system, includes a product configuration design server, including a processor, a non-transitory memory, an input/output, a product storage, a configuration library, and a machine learner; and a product configuration design device, which enables a user to select a three-dimensional object representation, a collection, and an inspiration source, such that the product configuration design server generates a plurality of product configurations as an output from a machine learning calculation on a configuration generation model, which takes as input the three-dimensional object representation, the collection, and the inspiration source. Also disclosed is a method of selecting a three-dimensional object representation, a collection, and an inspirations source; and generating product configurations.
Modification of Three-Dimensional Garments Using Gestures
Techniques for modifying a garment based on gestures are presented herein. An access module can access a first set of sensor data from a first sensor, and a second set of sensor data from a second sensor. A garment simulation module can generate a three-dimensional (3D) garment model of a garment available for sale draped on an avatar based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data. A display module can cause a presentation, on a display of a device, of the 3D garment model draped on the avatar. Additionally, the garment simulation module can determine a modification gesture associated with the 3D garment model draped on the avatar based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data. Furthermore, the garment simulation module can modify the 3D garment model based on the determined modification gesture.
Article design
Examples of article designing are described herein. In an example, image data, margin data, and sales data corresponding to a plurality of articles may be obtained. The obtained data may be analyzed to identify a first article image of a first article and a second article image of a second article. The first article image is integrated with the second article image, based on an article attribute to generate a transformed article image. The article attribute may be an attribute having a maximum likelihood of making the article popular. The transformed article image may be filtered based on predefined filtering rules to obtain a curated article design image. The curated article design image is assessed to generate a design score indicative of a popularity and/or a sellability of an article, and a design of the article may be selected for a post design selection process, based on the design score.
System, method, and computer program product for interactive user interfaces
Provided is a method, system, and computer program product for providing an interactive user interface. The method includes generating a user interface including a visual representation of a body having a garment arranged thereon, generating a plurality of vector lines corresponding to portions of the body and the garment, detecting a user input on a portion of the garment, the portion of the garment having an end portion aligned with a first point of the at least three points of the vector line, determining a second point of the at least three points of the vector line based on the user input on the portion of the garment, and automatically modifying the visual representation of the garment to move the end portion in alignment with the second point of the at least three points in response to determining the second point of the vector line.
