Order-preserving encryption system, encryption device, decryption device, encryption method, decryption method, and programs thereof
An encryption device comprises: a storage module for pre-storing an encryption key which is necessary for encryption processing; a pre-processing function unit which applies a pre-processing function to plaintext which converts an input value which in general may possibly not have a uniform distribution to an output value which has a uniform distribution; and an encryption unit which outputs encrypted text which is obtained by encrypting by order-preserving encryption, using the encryption key, the plaintext to which the pre-processing function is applied, and in which an order is maintained. This pre-processing function adds an arbitrarily selected random number to a value which is obtained by inputting an input value into a cumulative probability distribution function of an integer set with which the input value is associated, and treating same as an output value.
Specialized circuitry for cryptographic authentication and other purposes
To prevent piracy, audiovisual content is encrypted prior to transmission to consumers. A low-cost, high-security cryptographic rights module (such as a smartcard) enables devices such as players/displays to decode such content. Security-critical functions may be performed by the cryptographic module in a manner that allows security compromises to be addressed by upgrading or replacing cryptographic modules, thereby avoiding the need to replace or modify other (typically much higher-cost) components. The security module contains cryptographic keys, which it uses to process rights enablement messages (REMs) and key derivation messages (KDMs). From a REM and KDM, the security module derives key data corresponding to content, uses public key and/or symmetric cryptography to re-encrypt the derived key data for another device, and provides the re-encrypted key data to the decoding device. The decoding device then uses cryptographic values derived from the re-encrypted key data to decrypt the content.

According to an embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes a secure OS, a non-secure OS, and a monitor. The monitor is configured to switch between the OSs. The secure OS includes a memory protection setting controller, a processing determination controller, and a secure device access controller. The memory protection setting controller is configured to set a protection address in a memory for each certain processing. The processing determination controller is configured to receive an access type, a physical address of an access destination, and data to be written, acquire a list of processing, and determine a type of processing to be performed. The secure device access controller is configured to receive the access type, the physical address of an access destination, and data to be written, and access a peripheral identified by the physical address.
Efficient Embedding Table Storage and Lookup
The present disclosure provides systems, methods, and computer program products for providing efficient embedding table storage and lookup in machine-learning models. A computer-implemented method may include obtaining an embedding table comprising a plurality of embeddings respectively associated with a corresponding index of the embedding table, compressing each particular embedding of the embedding table individually allowing each respective embedding of the embedding table to be decompressed independent of any other embedding in the embedding table, packing the embedding table comprising individually compressed embeddings with a machine-learning model, receiving an input to use for locating an embedding in the embedding table, determining a lookup value based on the input to search indexes of the embedding table, locating the embedding based on searching the indexes of the embedding table for the determined lookup value, and decompressing the located embedding independent of any other embedding in the embedding table.
Crypto processor and electronic device including the same
Disclosed are apparatuses and methods with crypto processing. Computing devices may be interconnected to each other. Each computing device may be configured to perform polynomial operations based on homomorphic encryption. Memories may be configured to store instructions. Controllers may be configured to transfer instructions from the memories to the computing devices. One or more of the computing devices may each be configured to individually process, in parallel, at least a portion of the polynomial operations based on the homomorphic encryption according to an instruction transferred from a corresponding memory.
