Plant extracts and therapeutic compounds in smoking utensils and in honey complexes
Methods and utensils are provided for administering plant extract(s) at controlled amount via smoking, as well as for providing complexes of honey and plant extracts. Plant extract(s) may be used in utensils that are inserted into a smoking appliance, and have indications of the compounds and/or characteristics of the plant extract. Upon smoking the smoking appliance, the plant extracts may be inhaled in pre-defined amounts. Using plant extracts in such way enables standardization of amounts and components thereof, and may be particularly applicable to cannabis oils. Furthermore, complexes of honey and plant extracts may be provided by letting bees step on or be soiled by plant extracts on their way into the beehive, causing them to incorporate the plant extracts into the honey preparation process. Resulting complexes may be a preferable and particularly beneficial way of administering plant extracts, e.g., cannabis extracts.
Connectors for forming electrical and mechanical connections between interchangeable units in an aerosol delivery system
The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices. In various implementations, the aerosol delivery devices comprise a control device that includes a battery, a control component, and an outer housing that defines receiving chamber, and a cartridge that includes a mouthpiece portion, a tank that contains a liquid composition, and a heater configured to heat the liquid composition. The cartridge and the control device each include at least one connector configured to provide a magnetic and an electrical connection between the cartridge and the control device such that the cartridge can be removably and operatively received into the cartridge receiving chamber of the control body, wherein the at least one connector of the cartridge is located on the mouthpiece portion.
Smoking article
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a smoking article having a burn portion and a mouth portion. The burn portion includes a smoking rod filled with a smokeable filler material formed almost exclusively of cellulose material. The mouth portion includes either a filter portion with or without an interface or a tip with an interface. The mouth end may include an orthonasal property and the interface may store an additive.
Flavoured rods for use in aerosol-generating articles
A rod is provided, formed from a first sheet including a tobacco material and a second sheet including a non-tobacco flavourant, the first and second sheets being gathered together and circumscribed by a wrapper. The rod may be used as a component part of an aerosol-generating article.
CIGARETTE AND AEROSOL GENERATING APPARATUS THEREFOR
A cigarette for an aerosol generating device includes a tobacco rod containing an aerosol generating material; and a cooling rod arranged at one side of the tobacco rod and comprising a hollow extending in a longitudinal direction of the cigarette, wherein a cooling material layer is coated on an inner surface of the cooling rod.
MULTI-PURPOSE INTERNAL COMPONENT FOR AEROSOL-GENERATING PRODUCT, AND AEROSOL-GENERATING PRODUCT HAVING SAME
A multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product includes a hollow cylinder and air-permeable sealing members located at two ends of the hollow cylinder, where the hollow cylinder is filled with a functional material. The hollow cylinder can be filled with a smoke-generating material, a material with cooling, fragrance-enhancing, and harm-reducing functions, a filter material, and the like, such that multiple functions can be achieved; and the air-permeable sealing members at the two ends enable an air-flow channel. The internal component for an aerosol-generating product is simple and widely used in aerosol-generating products. An aerosol-generating product using the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product is provided, where the multi-purpose internal component for an aerosol-generating product can be used as an aerosol-generating component, a multi-functional component, or a filter component.
Heat-not-burn device and method
A device and method for converting a consumable into an aerosol with high heat without burning the consumable by packaging the consumable containing an internal susceptor inside a housing. A first end of the housing can be capped with an end cap and a second end of the housing can have a mouthpiece. The housing containing the consumable and the susceptor can be placed inside a case with an inductive heating element configured to heat the susceptor. Heating the susceptor results in the consumable being released as an aerosol for inhalation.
FLAVOR-CONTAINING SHEET FOR SMOKING ARTICLE AND SMOKING ARTICLE COMPRISING THE SAME
A flavor-containing sheet for a smoking article, the sheet comprising a thickening polysaccharide, a flavor, an emulsifier, and a filler.
Filler for smoking article
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a filler for a smoking article, a smoking article comprising the filler for a smoking article, and a method for manufacturing the filler for a smoking article. In one embodiment, the filler according to the present invention for a smoking article, said filler comprising a gel which contains a gelling agent and one or more gelation promoters, is characterized by having a tap density of 0.05 g/cm.sup.3 or less and a degree of suitability to compression filling of more than 60. In one embodiment, the filler according to the present invention for a smoking article is characterized by comprising a gel which contains pectin having an esterification degree of 12% or less and one or more gelation promoters.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME
The present disclosure provides an aerosol-generating article including an aerosol generator including: an aerosol generator comprising an aerosol-generating material configure to vaporize into an aerosol; a tobacco filling part comprising an inner wrapper on which a plurality of folds are formed, and granules of a tobacco material attached to the plurality of folds such that a tobacco component is added to the aerosol passing through the tobacco filling part; and a thermally conductive wrapper wrapped around at least part of outer surfaces of the aerosol generator and the tobacco filling part, and configured to transmit heat to the aerosol-generating material and the tobacco material.
