Image forming apparatus on which card reader is mountable
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion configured to form an image on a sheet; a mounting portion on which an IC card reader which includes a lighting portion where light indicating an operation state comes on and which is used for user authentication is mounted; a reader cover mounted on the mounting portion and covering the IC card reader, wherein the reader cover is provided with a plurality of openings, either one of the openings opposing the lighting portion of the IC card reader; and a light transmission sheet provided on the reader cover and covering the openings, wherein transmittance of visible light for the light transmission sheet is 5% or more and 25% or less.
Memory card locking device
A memory card locking device is provided. The memory card locking device includes an external card reader having a card slot in which a memory card is allowed to be inserted. The external card reader includes a main controller. The main controller is configured to receive a locking instruction from an application, and execute a locking program on the memory card to lock the memory card according to the locking instruction. When the memory card is locked, any device other than the external card reader cannot read and identify the memory card, and thus cannot look up and access data stored in the memory card.
READER/WRITER
According to one embodiment, a reader/writer includes an insertion portion and a support member. An information storage medium held by a person with fingers is inserted into the insertion portion. The support member supports the insertion portion on an installation surface by causing an insertion direction of the information storage medium with respect to the insertion portion to be lowered to the front to intersect with a horizontal plane. In the support member, an intersection angle between the insertion direction and the horizontal plane is set to a predetermined acute angle at which the fingers of the person do not interfere with the installation surface when the information storage medium is inserted into the insertion portion.
Information management system and information processing device
An information management system includes a gaming machine and an information processing device configured to communicate with the gaming machine, wherein the information processing device manages gaming machine identification information of the gaming machine to which an information card is used as time series information associated with information card identification information based upon the information card identification information of the information card not associated with personal information and the gaming machine identification information unique to the gaming machine transmitted from the gaming machine.
Non-contact type information processing device
A non-contact type information processing device structured to communicate with a medium in a non-contact manner may include a first circuit part having a first antenna, and the first circuit part may be configured to communicate with the medium at a first resonance frequency by electromagnetic induction. The non-contact type information processing device may further include a second circuit part having a second resonance frequency which is separated from the first resonance frequency, and the second circuit part may include a second antenna and a light emitting element which is operated by electric power obtained by an induced current that is received by the second antenna.
SMART CARD ENROLLMENT DEVICE
A connector that is configured to receive a smart card includes: a first contact configured to receive a power supply voltage and corresponding to a first (power supply) contact area of the smart card, a second contact configured to receive a reference voltage and corresponding to contact a second (reference voltage) contact area of the smart card, and a third contact corresponding to a three-state (input/output) contact area of the smart card. A first light-emitting diode having an anode coupled to the third contact and a cathode coupled to the second contact. A second light-emitting diode has a cathode coupled to the third contact and an anode coupled to the first contact. Turning on/off of the first and second light-emitting diode is controlled by the smart card through the signal at the three-state (input/output) contact area.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ATM INTEGRATED CARD FABRICATOR
Systems and methods provided herein may include a card replacement system. The system may include an automated teller machine in data communication with a server. The automated teller machine may include an input device; a processor; a replacement card storage containing at least one replacement card, wherein the at least one replacement cards may include a magnetic stripe and a chip; a magnetic stripe writer; a chip writer; and an embossing device. The processor may be configured to: receive a replacement card request via the input device; request replacement card information from the server; encode replacement card information onto the replacement card using the magnetic stripe writer and the chip writer; and emboss user information onto the replacement card using the embossing device.
Memory card, memory card adapter, and terminal device
A card socket configured for placing a subscriber identification module (SIM) or a memory card includes a first interface, where the first interface is coupled to the SIM or the memory card through a switch. The first interface is further coupled to a first terminal of the switch. A SIM system is coupled to a second terminal of the switch. A memory card system is coupled to a third terminal of the switch. A detection circuit is configured to detect that a card placed in the terminal device is a SIM or a memory card. A control circuit controls the first terminal of the switch to couple to the second terminal of the switch or controls the first terminal of the switch to connect to the third terminal of the switch, based on a detection result of the detection circuit.
RECORDING APPARATUS, RECORDING METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND MEMORY CARD
There is provided a recording apparatus that records data to a memory card, comprising: a control unit configured to repeatedly transmit a data recording instruction that includes information designating recording target data and a recording destination to the memory card which manages a memory for data recording in the memory card as a plurality of recording areas and which can execute data recording with a guaranteed minimum recording speed in units of recording areas, wherein when transmitting a first data recording instruction that designates a start portion of a first recording area as a recording destination, the control unit requests the memory card to execute data recording with the guaranteed minimum recording speed with respect to the first recording area by including a speed guarantee request in the first data recording instruction.
