Inspecting for a defect on a print medium with an image aligned based on an object in the image and based on vertices of the inspection target medium and the reference medium
There is provided with an image processing apparatus. An obtaining unit obtains a first image serving as a read image of an inspection target medium having undergone printing, and a second image serving as a read image of a reference medium representing a target print result. An inspection unit inspects a defect on the inspection target medium based on the first image and the second image by performing inspection at inspection settings different between a print region and a peripheral region of the inspection target medium.
Methods and systems for ink use estimation
In one aspect, a computer-implemented method for estimating ink use by a printer is provided. The method involves receiving, by a computer, a request for a comingled print job comprising a plurality of print jobs to be carried out by the printer. The method also involves traversing, by the computer, pages of the comingled print job and identifying, for each page of the comingled print job, a print job of the plurality of print jobs to which the page belongs. The method also involves for each of the plurality of print jobs, calculating, by the computer, an estimated total amount of ink required for printing the print job. The method also involves communicating, by the computer, to a client terminal, the estimated total amounts of ink required for printing the plurality of print jobs.
Image forming device
Provided is an image forming device capable of managing a printing result of a specific content as a use history of a user designated in advance. According to embodiments, an image forming device includes a printer, a memory, and a processor. The printer forms an image on a medium. The memory stores information indicating a designated user with respect to a specific content as a printing person to print the specific content. When printing of a specific content for which a designated user as a printing person is stored in the memory in correspondence is requested, the processor controls printing of the specific content by the printer with the designated user as the printing person.
Selective assignment of print data to calibration tables in accordance with substrate advancement skew
Print data is organized over rows and columns. The columns of each row are selectively assigned to calibration tables respectively corresponding to printheads of a pagewide array in accordance with a substrate advancement skew relative to the pagewide array. The calibration tables are applied to the columns of each row respectively assigned to the calibration tables. The columns of each row to which the calibration tables have been applied are printed using the printheads respectively corresponding to the calibration tables.
Sea face
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for dynamically personalizing a respiratory mask. A method for the dynamic personalization of a respiratory mask includes electronically scanning an identification of a guest on an oceangoing vessel, querying a data store of images of guest faces for an image of a face matching the identification of the guest, retrieving the matching image of the face into memory of the computing system, loading a printer with a respiratory mask such as an N95 mask or a KN95 mask, printing onto the mask a portion of the matching image of the face corresponding to a portion of the face obscured by the mask when the mask is worn by the guest and ejecting the mask with the printing from the printer.
PRINTING SUPPORT DEVICE, PRINTING SUPPORT METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM ENCODED WITH PRINTING SUPPORT PROGRAM
A printing support device that supports a printing process of causing an image processing apparatus to execute a print job includes a hardware processor, and the hardware processor detects a print start instruction, performs setting such that the print job is accumulated without being executed by the image forming apparatus in response to detection of the start instruction, acquires job information in regard to the print job accumulated in the image forming apparatus, determines a printing condition based on the job information, performing setting such that the print job is executed by the image forming apparatus in accordance with the determined printing condition after the printing condition is determined and instructs the application to output the print job.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus including: a first obtaining unit configured to obtain first image data to be printed; a second obtaining unit configured to obtain second image data indicating a subject identical to that of the first image data and expressed by a geometric condition different from that of the first image data; and a first determination unit configured to determine ink amounts of respective inks including a first ink which reflects light in a normal reflection and a second ink which is different from the first ink and has a ratio of an intensity of light reflected in the normal reflection direction to an intensity of light reflected in the diffuse direction smaller than that of the first ink in a case where light based on brightness at each position of the first image data and the second image data.
PRINT SYSTEM, SERVER SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A print system comprises a printing apparatus and a server system. The server system stores a file uploaded from an information processing apparatus, generates a print code based on a request for issuing a print job from the information processing apparatus and transmits, to the information processing apparatus, the generated print code. When the server system receives the print code from the printing apparatus, the server system generates a print job based on the file being associated with the received print code, and makes a print instruction based on the generated print job to the printing apparatus. The printing apparatus displays a screen that accepts input of the print code from a user, transmits, to the server system, the inputted print code, and executes printing based on the print instruction according to the print job.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus for converting color data into gray data extracts an object included in the color data in a page, and determines, based on color information and position information on a first object and a second object extracted, whether at least one of the first object and the second object is to be a target of conversion of a color value of the color data into a gray value with improved discriminability. The image processing apparatus controls to convert the color value of the object into a gray value by a conversion targeting all color values, or into a gray value with the improved discriminability, based on the determination whether or not to be the target of conversion.
COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND COMPUTER METHODS FOR AUTOMATED ON-DEMAND CUSTOMIZABLE ASSEMBLING AND HIGH THROUGHPUT PRINTING OF DOCUMENTS
In some embodiments, the instant invention provides for a computer-implemented method that includes at least the following steps of: periodically receiving investment transactional data identifying investment transactions of a plurality of investors; automatically determining, base on the investment transactional data, a document to be mailed to each investor of the plurality of investors; automatically generating a delivery data for each mailing to be mailed to each investor of the plurality of investors, where the delivery data includes: bucslip data or trade confirmation data, assembling data, and unique production control bar code data generated based on the assembling data and an investment transaction identifier from the investment transactional data; and printing a unique production control bar code based on the unique production control bar code data, where the unique production control bar code is configured to be used for: assembling each mailing envelope, and tracking such mailing envelope.
