A system and apparatus for selectively limiting user control of a mobile electronic device are provided. In an embodiment, the apparatus may be a case sized to receive a mobile electronic device, the case having a locking means to at least partially secure an opening thereof. When engaged, the locking means may be physically impenetrable by the user of the mobile electronic device and may further be configured to engage and disengage in the presence of one or more pre-determined conditions. For example, the lock may engage when the case is detected within a certain geographical region or even during a specified time. It is contemplated that providing disclosed systems and apparatuses may reduce undesirable behavior at communal events by eliminating distractions posed by mobile electronic devices and preventing unauthorized recordings, which together may enhance overall engagement at and enjoyment of such events.

Each chamber has first tabs, second tabs, and a tongue that secure a memory card. The buoyant layer displaces water so that the device floats and preferably has the rigid layer floating above the water. The device and its layers have a left end, a right end, a front, a back, a top surface, a bottom surface, a first corner and at least one second corner. The rigid layer and the buoyant layer have a waterproof construction and the buoyant layer has a light weight to volume ratio. In an alternate embodiment, the device has a hole through its top surface and the bottom surface for a lanyard.

In one example embodiment, a mobile device may include a first component and a second component foldable with respect to one another between a first configuration and a second configuration. The mobile device may further include a screen interface on an interior side of the first component, and an alignment feature along the interior side, the alignment feature providing alignment for a contactless card with respect to the screen interface, wherein the contactless card is uncovered by the second component in the first configuration and covered by the second component in the second configuration.

Card packaging method, corresponding packaged card and method of use

An exemplary package comprises a smart card having a first side and a second side, the first side comprising a first area having reproduced thereon first readable information and a second area having reproduced thereon second readable information. The first side having a laminar member applied so as to cover the first side, the laminar member comprising a light-impermeable material and a first light-permeable portion at the first side. The first readable information is visible through the first light-permeable portion and the second readable information is covered and made invisible by the light-impermeable material. A light-permeable film material is wrapped onto the smart card having the laminar member applied thereon.

TOOL HAVING A DETECTABLE WIRELESS MARKER OR TAG

A tool having a detectable wireless marker or tag is provided. The tool has a working portion with a projection or tang by which the working portion of the tool is held, a wireless tag located on, but insulated from the tang, and a handle disposed over and encompassing the projection or tang and the wireless tag. In an exemplary embodiment, the wireless tag is insulated from the tang using a housing assembly made up of: an enclosure with a side opening for receiving a detectable wireless tag; a cover that securely fits over the side opening; and a snap-fit assembly component integrally formed on an outer surface of the enclosure for receiving a tools' tang. The invention allows for the use of fragile markers or tags, which are protected by the housing assembly from temperatures and pressures used during, for example, tool handle manufacturing processes. Also provided is a method for providing a tool with a detectable wireless tag, and a method for tracking and tracing tools used within a packaging facility.
