Detecting an attempted theft of information stored in an RFID-enabled card
Detecting an attempted theft of information stored in an RFID-enabled card, including: receiving, by a theft detection module, a transaction request, the transaction request including RFID-enabled card information; determining, by the theft detection module, that the RFID-enabled card information is mock card information, wherein mock card information is provided to an RFID reader by an RFID tag exterior to an RFID shield of an RFID-enabled card security enclosure responsive to an RFID request directed at the security enclosure; and responsive to determining that the RFID-enabled card information is mock card information, initiating, by the theft detection module, one or more security actions.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CONTACTLESS CARD ALIGNMENT WITH A FOLDABLE MOBILE DEVICE
Example embodiments of systems, methods, and devices for transaction card alignment are provided. In one example embodiment, a mobile device may include a first component and a second component foldable with respect to one another between a first configuration and a second configuration. The mobile device may further include a screen interface on an interior side of the first component, and an alignment feature along the interior side, the alignment feature providing alignment for a contactless card with respect to the screen interface, wherein the contactless card is uncovered by the second component in the first configuration and covered by the second component in the second configuration.
Personal sound meter and broadcasting/reporting system
A sound monitoring system includes an identification card holder and a central processing and monitoring system in wireless communication with the identification card holder. The identification card holder is wearable on a body of a user, and includes a microphone for receiving sound and a visual sound indicator for displaying a noise level of the sound received through the microphone. The central processing and monitoring system processes sound data received from the identification card holder and transmits the processed sound data back to the identification card holder for display of the noise level represented by the processed sound data.
Hinge for eyeglasses
Hinge for eyeglasses which is provided with a housing seat in which a TAG is inserted. The TAG is provided with an electronic identification device and with a support body containing the electronic device at its interior. The support body is provided with a seat, which removably houses the electronic device, and is provided with an opening for the insertion of the electronic device at its interior. The seat has at least one elastically pliable portion, which intercepts the electronic device in order to retain it within the seat itself.
System and method for attaching identification tags to objects using a flexible attachment device
The present invention is a system and method for the attachment of a tracking sensor or identification device placed on an object without the need for an attachment tool or fasteners such as adhesives, rivets, screws, or bolts. Through the interaction of the attachment device and the particular portions of the object to which it is attached as to secure the device to the object using tension between the device and object due to the device having flexible prongs which grip the object when properly located on the object.
Card holder and electronic device
A card holder includes a card tray, a card cover and a first connecting rod. The card tray is configured to accommodate a data card. The card cover is rotatably connected to the card tray, and includes opposite first and second ends and a first protrusion extending towards the card tray. The first connecting rod has an end connected to the card tray and another end rotatably connected to the card cover, and is configured to rotate relative to the card cover such that the card cover approaches to or is away from the card tray. When the card holder is inserted into a housing and a pushing force is applied to the first end, the card cover is rotatable about the first protrusion such that the first end extends further into the housing and the second end extends out of the housing. An electronic device is also provided.
Mobile terminal having card unit and method for controlling same
The present invention provides a mobile terminal comprising: a body; a display unit, formed on one surface of the body, for displaying screen information comprising at least one item of content item corresponding to at least one piece of card information; a card module withdrawable from the body; and a control unit for selecting at least one item of content item according to a touch applied on the screen information and applying at least one piece of card information corresponding to the selected item of content to the card module.
Automated screw identification system and method
A tray includes a plurality of rows, each of which includes a plurality of slots. Each row contains a plurality of screws. Different rows may contain screws of different types, e.g., lengths. Each of one or more rows contains a machine-readable object (e.g., peg) containing data representing properties of the objects in the corresponding rows. Removal of an object from a row is performed by reading data from the machine-readable object in the row and using that data to modify (e.g., decrement or increment) a count of the type of object contained in that row.
Tools with removable information device
A removable assembly (38) comprising an information holding unit (36). The removable assembly is positionable in a material object (2), such as a tool, tool component or part, machine, machine component or part, device, etc., and can be removed therefrom by fluid pressure whereby the material object can be subjected to processing that would otherwise cause damage to, or destroy, the information holding unit (36).
