Automated screw identification system and method
A tray includes a plurality of rows, each of which includes a plurality of slots. Each row contains a plurality of screws. Different rows may contain screws of different types, e.g., lengths. Each of one or more rows contains a machine-readable object (e.g., peg) containing data representing properties of the objects in the corresponding rows. Removal of an object from a row is performed by reading data from the machine-readable object in the row and using that data to modify (e.g., decrement or increment) a count of the type of object contained in that row.
Wireless tag reader and basket device
A wireless tag reader includes a casing, an antenna in the casing and through which a radio wave is transmitted to and received from a wireless tag on an article, a control device in the casing and configured to read tag information stored in the wireless tag based on a radio wave received by the antenna, and an elastic member between the casing and the antenna so as to permit the antenna to be movable with respect to the casing.
Devices and methods for contactless card alignment with a foldable mobile device
Example embodiments of systems, methods, and devices for transaction card alignment are provided. In one example embodiment, a mobile device may include a first component and a second component foldable with respect to one another between a first configuration and a second configuration. The mobile device may further include a screen interface on an interior side of the first component, and an alignment feature along the interior side, the alignment feature providing alignment for a contactless card with respect to the screen interface, wherein the contactless card is uncovered by the second component in the first configuration and covered by the second component in the second configuration.
Smartcard and computer quick connect and release system
A smartcard unit includes at least a smartcard and an attachment enabling the smartcard unit to be worn by a user. The smartcard is accessible to an external reader. A reader unit interfaces with the smartcard to enable an external computer to communicate with the smartcard. The smartcard unit or the reader unit has structure to align the reader unit relative to the smartcard unit in an alignment for communicative interfacing while the smartcard unit is being worn. The smartcard unit or the reader unit has a retainer to secure the reader unit in alignment relative to the smartcard so that the smartcard unit is reversibly separable from the reader unit without damage, in response to a force less than is necessary to detach or damage another part of said system, other than along a longitudinal axis of the smartcard or of a pair of components being separated.
CARD HOLDER AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A card holder includes a card tray, a card cover and a first connecting rod. The card tray is configured to accommodate a data card. The card cover is rotatably connected to the card tray, and includes opposite first and second ends and a first protrusion extending towards the card tray. The first connecting rod has an end connected to the card tray and another end rotatably connected to the card cover, and is configured to rotate relative to the card cover such that the card cover approaches to or is away from the card tray. When the card holder is inserted into a housing and a pushing force is applied to the first end, the card cover is rotatable about the first protrusion such that the first end extends further into the housing and the second end extends out of the housing. An electronic device is also provided.
TRANSACTION CARD HAVING FEATURES FOR EASY REMOVAL FROM WALLET
A transaction card includes a first full thickness portion and a second, reduced thickness portion. Each of the first and second portions includes a top surface and an opposing bottom surface spaced from the top surface by a thickness of the card. The first, full thickness portion includes an extent of the card that remains exposed when the card is inserted into a pocket of a card-carrying case, and a feature deviating from a flat region along at least one of the top surface and the opposing bottom surface of the card. The feature is configured for tactile engagement to facilitate removal of the card from the pocket.
MOUNTED TOKEN SYSTEM AND TRACKING
A mounted token system is configured to be worn by a wearer as a part of the grieving process. The mounted token system may include a token with an tracking indicator, a token mount, and a server. The token mount includes an anterior segment which includes an anterior opening, and a posterior segment moveable relative to the anterior segment. The token mount is configured to secure the token therein. At least a portion of the token is visible from an anterior side through the anterior opening. The server performs the following steps: present, to a first user via a graphical user interface, an invitation to provide information indicative of the tracking indicator of the token; receive, from the first user, information indicative of the tracking indicator; and store information indicative of the tracking indicator. The token may then be passed to a subsequent wearer, utilizing a new token mount.
Smart card holder
A system includes: a physical wallet configured to attach to a first mobile communication device and to physically store a first funding card and additional funding cards in a holding compartment; a non-transitory memory; and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising: associating a plurality of funding cards with the first mobile communication device, wherein the first funding card is not a member of the plurality of funding cards associated with the first mobile communication device; and detecting when the first funding card is physically removed from the holding compartment of the system; and transmitting a notification to a computer in response to the first funding card being physically removed from the holding compartment.
HINGE FOR EYEGLASSES
Hinge for eyeglasses which is provided with a housing seat in which a TAG is inserted. The TAG is provided with an electronic identification device and with a support body containing the electronic device at its interior. The support body is provided with a seat, which removably houses the electronic device, and is provided with an opening for the insertion of the electronic device at its interior. The seat has at least one elastically pliable portion, which intercepts the electronic device in order to retain it within the seat itself.
