Server, control program, and apparatus
A server includes: a communicator communicable with an apparatus configured to perform a scanning operation and a printing operation using an ink-jet head; and a controller. The controller controls the server to: receive, from the apparatus, scan data representing a printing sheet printed by the ink-jet head; determine whether cleaning of the ink-jet head is required, based on the received scan data; transmit permission information to the apparatus when the server determines that the cleaning of the ink-jet head is required, the permission information indicating permission of the cleaning of the ink-jet head; and transmit non-permission information to the apparatus when the server determines that the cleaning of the ink-jet head is not required, the non-permission information indicating non-permission of the cleaning of the ink-jet head.
Color conversion apparatus, color conversion method, and inkjet recording apparatus for producing an image layer with improved precision of color reproducibility
This disclosure is directed to improving the precision of color reproducibility in a whole image region of any product provided with a base layer(s) regardless of any form of the base layer(s). The RIP (Raster Image Processor) device includes a color conversion processor that applies a color conversion process adapted for presence or absence of a base layer and for a base color to content data representing part or all of details of an image layer at a respective one of positions in an image region indicated by the image layer, and an image layer data generator that generates image layer data representing ejection-related information of ink droplets of a plurality of colors using the content data that has been subjected to the color conversion process.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus according to the present disclosure stores image data of an image having a plurality of regions, the plurality of regions having stepwise different densities, including a first region, a second region, and a third region between the first region and the second region, and satisfying a relationship of a moisture amount in the first region <a moisture amount in the third region <a moisture amount in the second region, and forms the stored image data on a print medium.
Inkjet printer, and control method of an inkjet printer
An inkjet printer for printing labels includes: a first interface configured to receive, from a host computer, print data for images to be printed on the labels; a second interface configured to receive, from a sequencer, a first signal indicating a timing to execute a printing operation that includes printing the images, and a second signal indicating a timing to execute a predetermined operation that cannot be executed in parallel with printing the images; and a controller configured to: render the print data received via the first interface, and execute the printing operation based on the rendered print data at a timing based on the first signal received via the second interface, and execute the predetermined operation at a timing based on the second signal received via the second interface.
Printing apparatus and printing method
A printing apparatus for printing on an elongate printing medium includes the following elements: a transport mechanism for transporting the printing medium; a printing unit including a plurality of print heads arranged at intervals in a transport direction; a detecting unit including at least three detectors arranged as spaced from one another for detecting positions in a width direction of the printing medium; a variation history acquirer for deriving, for each detection cycle, a function approximate curve based on positions of the same location in the transport direction of the printing medium detected by the respective detectors, and acquiring from each function approximate curve, and as a variation history, a deviation amount in the width direction in each of the printing positions; a predicted position calculator for calculating, from the variation history, a predicted position in the width direction for each of the printing position; and a printing controller for printing while correcting the position based on the predicted position.
Movement control device, ink-droplet ejection device, movement control method, and recording medium
A movement control device configured to determine whether the moving unit moved by a driving unit is in a stopped state at a position before a predetermined target stop position, and whether a difference between the detection position and the target stop position is equal to or smaller than a threshold difference, based on a detection position of the moving unit, after the moving unit starts deceleration operation, and switch a control of the driving unit to a position control based on the difference between the detection position and the target stop position, from a speed control based on a designated speed associated with the detection position to the target stop position, if the moving unit is in the stopped state at a position before the predetermined target stop position, and the difference is equal to or smaller than the threshold difference.
IMAGE CAPTURING UNIT, COLOR MEASURING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, COLOR MEASURING SYSTEM AND COLOR MEASUREMENT METHOD
An image capturing unit includes a sensor unit that image-captures a predetermined area including a subject; and a reference chart unit that is arranged in the predetermined area and captured with the subject by the sensor unit.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRINTING RADIOPAQUE INKS
In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful for printing radiopaque ink compositions on substrates. In some embodiments, a system for printing radiopaque ink compositions comprises a substrate, an ink printing device comprising a cartridge containing a radiopaque ink composition, and a control circuit communicatively coupled to the ink printing device. The control circuit receives an object identifier to identify a product for commercial sale, selects one or more printing parameters, and causes the ink printing device to deposit the radiopaque ink composition on the substrate using the selected one or more printing parameters to form on the substrate a machine-readable code associated with the object identifier. In some embodiments, the control circuit obtains an identification of the particular radiopaque ink composition in the cartridge and selects at least one of the printing parameter based on the identification of the radiopaque ink composition.
Inkjet printer and inkjet recording method
An inkjet printer system that records images in a shorter time while taking ink drying time into account includes an output data generator including an ink information acquirer, a hard-to-dry index acquirer, a first image setter, a first area setter, and a layout arranger. The ink information acquirer acquires, for two or more images, ink information including an amount of ink required to record the images. The hard-to-dry index acquirer acquires, for each of the two or more images, a hard-to-dry index calculated from the ink information and indicating how difficult the ink is to dry. The first image setter sets an image having a highest hard-to-dry index to be a first image. The first area setter sets a first area in a recording area of a recording medium that is upstream in a conveying direction. The layout arranger arranges the first image in the first area earlier than other images.
