Jewelry article comprising a clasp with a swivel lock
The invention relates to a jewelry article (10), in particular a bracelet, comprising two branches (12a, 12b) and a clasp (20) comprising a lock (40) pivotally mounted on a pivot (22) integral with or connected to one end (13a) of one of the two branches (12a, 12b). The lock (40) comprises a central passage (54) extending along the axis of the pivot (22) and a cavity (58) communicating with the central passage (54) and opening onto one of two lateral sides (42a, 42b) of the lock (40). The clasp (20) further comprises a connecting member (24) integral with or connected to one end (13b) of the other of the two branches (12a, 12b) and intended to be fitted into the central passage (54) and the cavity (58) of the lock (40). The connecting member (24) and the cavity (58) are shaped so as to make it possible, on the one hand, to bring the jewelry article (10) from an unlocked configuration to a locked configuration by rotating the lock (40) about the pivot (22) in one direction after the connecting member (24) has been fitted into the lock and, on the other hand, to bring the jewelry article (10) from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration by rotating the lock (40) about the pivot (22) in an opposite direction so that the connecting member (24) can be removed from the lock (40).
FASTENER FOR PERSONAL ACCESSORY, ETC.
A fastener for accessories comprises a pair of a female part (1) and a male part (2). The female part (1) comprises a holding frame body (12), a holding space (13) which is surrounded by the holding frame body (12), and an opening part (14) which can close elastically at a tip of the holding frame body (12). The female part (1) further comprises a guide part (15) for insertion at an outer side of the opening part (14). On the other hand, the male part (2) comprises a circular locking frame body (22), a locking accepting part (25) which is surrounded by the locking frame body (22), and a locking part (21) which can close elastically at a tip of the locking frame body (22). The male part (2) further comprises a guide part (23) for engagement/disengagement at an inner side of the locking part (21) and an outer shell (57) on a periphery of the locking frame body (22). The fastener for accessories can be easily engaged by pushing the locking part (21) of the male part (2) onto the guide part (15) for insertion of the female part (1). On the contrary, the fastener for accessories can be easily disengaged by twisting and pulling the male part (2) from the female part (1) while pushing the inner side of the opening part (14) of the female part (1) onto the guide part (23) for engagement/disengagement of the male part (2).
Jewelry clasp
A jewelry clasp that includes separate end pieces and a center housing that is adapted to engage and release with the separate end pieces. Each of the end pieces supports a magnet and further includes a blind passageway having the magnet disposed at a base of the blind passageway. The blind passageway further includes an annular slot, and the center housing includes a push button arrangement enabling engagement and release of the clasp. A pair of arms is supported from opposed sides of the center housing and the center housing further includes a pair of end flanges that are selectively engageable with the slot in the respective end pieces.
ADJUSTABLE BRACELET CLASP
A bracelet clasp (1) of the deployant buckle type, including first and second strips (2, 4) articulated to each other via a first of their respective ends, between a closed position for wear, and at least one open position, the first strip (2) carrying a member (20) for attaching a first bracelet strand, the second, lower strip (4) having a loop member (28) at its second end defining a passage for a second bracelet strand and carrying a stud (30) intended to be inserted into a suitable hole in the bracelet strand to define an anchoring point of the latter to the clasp (1), the clasp (1) further including at least one locking member (11) for holding the first and second strips (2, 4) in their closed position, characterized in that the stud (30) is movable with respect to the loop member (28) and includes an actuator (34) arranged to move it and thereby define at least two predefined positions associated with a predefined useful bracelet length.
Band latch mechanism
A band latch mechanism that is configured to connect a wristband to a fitness tracker is provided. The band latch mechanism may be configured to be inserted into a cavity of a housing of the fitness tracker and configured so that any metallic body of the band latch mechanism does not contact metallic surfaces of the cavity in order to prevent an electrical ground from being positioned within a keep-out zone of an antenna of the fitness tracker.
Buckle with slotted-hole tang
A wristband with straps having a fixed-position keeper and a tang buckle with an elongate-hole tang is provided. The elongate hole may permit the tang to slide for a limited distance along the length of the buckle strap, thereby accommodating different wrist sizes and shapes while reducing the possibility of bridging or tang lift in the band.
BRACELET FASTENING SYSTEM
A bracelet including two strands provided with a fastening system which includes at least one longitudinal groove on one of the two strands and at least one longitudinal protuberance on the other strand. The material and the shape of the groove and of the protuberance are configured such that these two elements interlock under pressure exerted by the bracelet user, over two overlapping portions of the bracelet strands. The connection between the strands can easily be separated, preferably by peeling the upper strand away from the lower strand. The bracelet is continuously adjustable in length, without requiring heavy or complex elements.
System and method for providing an early warning to a victim of domestic violence or stalking
An alert system has a first device configured to be secured to a first person, a second device associated with a second person, and a computing system. The computing system is configured to determine when the first device has breached a first geofence associated with the second device and, upon determining the first device has breached the first geofence, alert the first device, the second device, and a third device. The first device is configured to, upon receiving an alert indicating the first geofence has been breached, emit an alert signal on the first device. The second device is configured to, upon receiving an alert indicating the first geofence has been breached, emit an alert signal on the second device.
Child safety assembly
A child safety assembly includes a wristband that is selectively worn around a child's wrist. A lock is movably coupled to the wristband and the lock is selectively manipulated. The lock is selectively positioned in a locked position to retain the wristband on the wrist. The lock is selectively positioned in an unlocked position to facilitate the wristband to be removed from the wrist. An alert unit is coupled to the wristband and the alert unit is in thermal communication with the wristband's environment. The alert unit selectively emits an audible alarm and the alert unit is in wireless electrical communication with an electronic device. The alert unit emits the audible alarm when the alert unit detects a temperature of the wristband's environment falls below or rises above a trigger temperature. In this way the alert unit alerts a caregiver to a potential hazard with respect to the child.
Pivot chain end for jewelry
A pivot chain end for a jewelry is provided in the present embodiment. The pivot chain end has a 360 degree linking mechanism for chains having jewelry items which helps in arresting the improper fall issue of the necklace when worn by a wearer. The pivot chain end includes an eyelet which is circular in shape linked with a back chain having an abutted cylindrical portion with a through hole and a metal disc having three flat flanks and one curved ridged side, wherein the metal disc allows the screw to pass through within the disc and connect the eyelet, through a partially threaded body on the screw, thereby securing the metal disc with the eyelet and enabling the eyelet to freely rotate 360 degree axially as per movement of the back chain.
