The present invention relates to a display arrangement for an injection device for displaying the size of a dose of a medicament, the display arrangement comprising: a housing (60) providing a rotation axis (3) extending in an axial direction (4), a first display member (22) rotatably supported inside the housing (60) with regard to the rotation axis (3) and having at least one cam (32) radially offset from the rotation axis (3), a second display member (24) rotatably supported inside the housing (60) with regard to the rotation axis (3) and arranged axially adjacent to the first display member (24), a coupling member (26) rotatably engaged with the second display member (24), wherein the coupling member (26) is engaged with the at least one cam (32) of the first display member (22) when the first display member (22) is in a predefined angular position or angular range, wherein the coupling member (26) and the first display member (22) are mutually engaged via a retaining arrangement (48) when the cam (32) and the coupling member (26) are disengaged.

INHALATION COUNTER

An inhalation counter (350, 450, 550) for an inhalation system (100) is provided. The inhalation system comprises a fluid flow passage (322) and the inhalation counter comprises an escapement wheel (352, 452), a biasing means (354, 454) for incrementing the escapement wheel, a conversion mechanism which, in use, is configured to perform a first action in response to a temporary increase in fluid flow rate through the fluid flow passage, and an anchor (356, 456). The anchor is coupled to the conversion mechanism and configured to interact with the escapement wheel so as to allow the biasing means to increment the escapement wheel in response to the first action of the conversion mechanism. A holder (300) and an inhalation system comprising the inhalation counter are also provided.

Dispenser

The present invention relates to dispensers, in particular to dispensers for dispensing a dose of a gaseous, gas borne or droplet substance from a substance source and dispensers comprising dosage counters. The present invention therefore provides a dispenser for dispensing a dose of a gaseous, gas borne or droplet substance from a substance source, the dispenser comprising: a body (1) for receiving a substance source, the body having a mouthpiece (2); a junction member (41) slideably arranged in the body for movement in a longitudinal axis of the body to release a dose of a substance from a substance source (C), the junction member receiving a spout (S) of a substance source in a socket (43); and a dispenser driver for moving the junction member in the longitudinal axis of the body to release a dose of a substance from a substance source. A cam follower (16) is slideably arranged within the body having rigid protrusions (18a, 18b) projecting from a base (17) and the protrusion being arranged between the dispenser driver and the junction member such that a force applied by the cam of the dispenser driver to the protrusion causes the cam follower to slideably move in the longitudinal axis of the body and apply a force to the junction member so as to release a dose of a substance from a substance source. The dispenser also comprises a dispenser cap (91) comprising a hollow body having a lower open end (92) engageable with the body, and an upper open end (94) for receiving a cap closure device (120) for closing the upper open end. The dispenser also comprises a dose counter (203) for indicating a number of actuations of the dispenser corresponding to a number of doses dispensed from a substance source, or a number of doses remaining in a substance source, the dose counter comprising: a first ring member (202) having a first indicia and being rotatable in increments about the longitudinal axis, the first indicia indicating a count; and a limiting member comprising a limiting mechanism (1506), wherein the limiting mechanism comprises an engaging portion arranged to act radially with respect to the first ring member to contact the first ring member to limit free rotation of the first member relative to the limiting member about the axis.

DISPLAY ARRANGEMENT FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE

The present invention relates to a A display arrangement for an injection device for displaying the size of a dose of a medicament, the display arrangement comprising: a housing (60) providing a rotation axis (3) extending in an axial direction (4), a first display member (22) rotatably supported inside the housing (60) with regard to the rotation axis (3) and having at least one cam (32) radially offset from the rotation axis (3), a second display member (24) rotatably supported inside the housing (60) with regard to the rotation axis (3) and arranged axially adjacent to the first display member (24), a coupling member (26) rotatably engaged with the second display member (24), wherein the coupling member (26) is engaged with the at least one cam (32) of the first display member (22) when the first display member (22) is in a predefined angular position or angular range, wherein the coupling member (26) and the first display member (22) are mutually engaged via a retaining arrangement (48) when the cam (32) and the coupling member (26) are disengaged.

LIMIT VALUE DETECTION DEVICE COMPRISING A COUNTING UNIT

A limit value detection device for multiple detection of a limit value event has a catch mechanism manufactured using microstructuring technology, having a first and a second catch element, each having a plurality of catches, a pawl configured to engage in a catch intermediate space between two adjacent catches of the first catch element, the first catch element being movable relative to the pawl in a freewheeling direction and movement thereof relative to the pawl in a blocking direction being blockable by the pawl, and an actuating device configured to move the first catch element and the pawl relative to each other in a catch-by-catch manner in the freewheeling direction. The first and second catch elements together form a counting unit in which the counter status for indicating the detected limit value events is determined based on the position of the two catch elements relative to each other.
