Clasp
A clasp which has a primary body and a secondary body couples a first elongated member with a second elongated member. The primary body has a bore and a pin extending within the bore. The secondary body has a rod. A pin bore is within the rod and defines an interior rod wall. A groove is within the interior rod wall. A leg is coupled to the pin. A locking channel is within the interior rod wall and coupled to the groove. The leg engages with the shaped locking channel for coupling and decoupling the primary body with the secondary body.
Closure Mechanism for Jewelry
A jewelry closure mechanism (e.g., clasp) may include a locking receptacle and a locking pin that operate together to provide a closure mechanism for a piece of jewelry. The closure mechanism may or may not include a hinge. In some implementations, a locking pin may extend from the second arm and be inserted into a locking receptacle formed in a second arm to lock the two components together. The locking receptacle may include one or more wires (e.g., spring and/or precast) that extend transversely to the direction of the locking receptacle. The closure mechanism may be used as a general jewelry closure device and/or to couple segments of j ewelry together.
Watchband securement with clamp pads
A watchband can comfortably secure an electronic device to a wrist of a user. A connector can be provided along a segment of the watchband to receive and secure to another segment of the watchband. For example, a connector can include a housing with an inlet and an outlet, a first pad within the housing, and a second pad within the housing. When a watchband segment between the first and second pads is moved in a direction from the outlet toward the inlet, the first pad and the second pad move toward each other to clamp the watchband segment without plastically deforming the watchband segment.
Toy knitting device
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a toy knitting device and a knitting kit including the toy knitting device and a breakaway clasp. The knitting device comprises a knitting body having an interior chamber in which a needle holder is rotatably coupled to the knitting device. The needle holder comprises a plurality of needles configured to move up and down the side of the needle holder as the needle holder rotates to grasp a knitting strand being fed into the interior chamber of the knitting body. The needle holder rotates by a plurality of engaged gears coupled to either an automated motor for automated rotation or a hand knob or crank for manual rotation. The needle holder comprises a center aperture through which the knitted product that is configured to receive an embellishment to be embedded within a hollow interior of the knitted product is inserted.
Connector with rotating lock mechanism
A connector device includes a connector component and a housing body. The connector component has a connector head. The housing body includes a first body portion and a second body portion. The first body portion has an accommodating space for the connector head. The second body portion is coupled to the first body portion and is rotatably movable with respect to the first body portion, wherein the second body portion has a first position and a second position. When the second body portion rotates to the first position, access in and out of the accommodating space is allowed for the connector head. When the second body portion rotates to the second position, the second body portion blocks the connector head access into or out of the accommodating space.
Knife and associated sheath
A bracelet or flexible band comprised of a flexible member that on one end is interconnected to a knife and on another end, is connected to a sheath that selectively receives the knife in the locking fashion. When needed, the knife is rotated within the sheath to facilitate release thereof from a lock that is integral with the sheath. Once removed from the sheath, the knife can be used for self-defense, cutting rope or cord in an emergency situation, or for general utility cutting tasks.
CLASP MECHANISMS FOR WRIST-WORN DEVICES
A band configured to couple a device to a body of a user is disclosed. The band includes a first link comprising a recess defined in a body of the first link, a leaf spring positioned in the recess and comprising a tongue portion protruding from the leaf spring, and a second link coupled to the first link and comprising first and second lip portions extending away from a body of the second link and separated from one another by a gap. The tongue portion is positioned in the gap between the first and second lip portions, and the first and second lip portions engage the leaf spring to retain the second link to the first link.
CLASP FOR CUSTOMISABLE FANCY BRACELET
A clasp for a fancy bracelet comprises a body (1) having two opposite sides to which respective ones of the ends of the bracelet come to be fastened. The body of the clasp is configured as two complementary portions (1A, 1B), each of which forms one respective side of the clasp, and holding together by a magnetic effect. Each portion of the clasp has a groove in its fastening side for fastening to a respective end of the bracelet, which groove is a groove (3A, 3B) partially closed with undercutting, and extends longitudinally between two groove ends along the fastening side.
CHARM KEEPER ASSEMBLY
A charm keeper assembly that includes a first and a second clasp member disposed at respective free ends of a strand member and a charm keeper body having a keeper body thickness and independently disposed adjacent to a clasp member and having a spring-loaded charm retention member at least partially housed within the keeper body. The charm retention member includes a retention surface spanning upwardly in a transverse direction away from an outer surface of the charm keeper body to a terminal end defining a keeper offset length when the spring-loaded charm retention member is in a fully extended position along a retention member translation path. The assembly also includes at least one charm member defining a lumen with a lumen diameter having a maximum length less than the offset length and the keeper body thickness, combined, when the charm retention member is in the fully extended position.
SAFETY CLASP FOR A NECKLACE
A clasp for a necklace including a string, the clasp being configured to join a first and second free end of a string, the clasp including a first part; and a second part, the clasp being transitionable between an open condition and a closed condition, the first and second parts including surfaces that are configured to be releasably attached to one another by a magnetic connection; the first and second parts being magnetically attracted to one another, the closed condition being when the surfaces of the first and second parts are positioned on one another and the open condition being when then surfaces of the first and second parts are spaced apart from one another; and the first and second parts each including a throughhole extending lengthwise along an axis extending along a length of the first and second parts, the surfaces of the first and second part being generally transverse to the axis, the throughhole being configured to receive and secure a portion of the string therein.
