Latching mechanism for securing two objects
A latching mechanism for connecting a first object to a second object is provided. The latching mechanism includes a groove provided along a surface of the first object. The groove includes a notch. The notch can be centered in the groove. The groove is configured to receive a connective end of the second object, and the notch is configured to lock the connective end of the second object in place. The notch can receive a tab from the connective end of the second object.
Clasp for customisable fancy bracelet
A clasp for a fancy bracelet comprises a body (1) having two opposite sides to which respective ones of the ends of the bracelet come to be fastened. The body of the clasp is configured as two complementary portions (1A, 1B), each of which forms one respective side of the clasp, and holding together by a magnetic effect. Each portion of the clasp has a groove in its fastening side for fastening to a respective end of the bracelet, which groove is a groove (3A, 3B) partially closed with undercutting, and extends longitudinally between two groove ends along the fastening side.
ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A removable module and a housing for an attachment system of a consumer product is described. The removable module includes a locking mechanism comprising a first portion having a substantially planar top surface and second portion that comprises a substantially non-planar bottom surface. The first portion and the second portion are coupled together. The locking mechanism also includes a first spring mechanism coupled between the first portion and the second portion. The first spring mechanism causes the first portion to be biased away from the second portion. The locking mechanism also includes a second spring mechanism. The second spring mechanism causes the substantially planar top surface of the first portion to be biased substantially flush with respect to the removable module and also causes the substantially non-planar bottom surface of the second portion to be biased proud with respect to the removable module.
CONSUMER PRODUCT ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS HAVING LOCKING OR EXPANSION CHARACTERISTICS
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a locking assembly for an attachment system of a consumer product. More specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to an attachment unit that is configured to be inserted and removed from a housing of a consumer product. The attachment unit and/or the housing include an expansion component or other such locking assembly configured to releasably secure the attachment unit within the housing.

Watch strap
A strap (2) for a watch (1) comprising: a first fastening portion (4); a watch supporting portion (6); and a second fastening portion (8). The first and second fastening portions comprise a series of holes (22, 24) spaced along each fastening portion. The first fastening portion further comprises an opening (10) through which the second fastening portion can be threaded and at least one pin (12) projecting inwards from the strap so as to be received in a hole in the second fastening portion. The second fastening portion further comprises at least one pin (14) projecting inwards from the strap so as to be received in a hole in the first fastening portion when the second fastening portion is threaded through the opening and laid on top of the first fastening portion. The first fastening portion further comprises at least one peg (18) projecting outwards from the strap so as to engage in a hole in the second fastening portion.
CLASP WITH BLUETOOTH FOR SECURING A FLEXIBLE BAND
A clasp is configured to permanently interlock around a flexible strip of material and includes first and second interlocking members. At least one interlocking member includes a Bluetooth communication device. Each interlocking member can include a plurality of hooks and a corresponding plurality of recesses, where the recesses of one interlocking member receive the hooks of the other interlocking member to secure a band within the clasp between the interlocking members. The recesses can be completely internal to the clasp to prevent external tampering. Each of the interlocking members can include various protrusions and ribs that compress and secure the band within the clasp, so as to prevent movement of the band between the interlocking members when interlocked.
